Warmer coat for winter

We rejoice with you that God has already provided boots for the winter and we give thanks with you for His faithfulness, for every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17. We join you in praying for His continued provision for a warmer coat.
We are encouraged that you asked in Jesus' name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We know our Father sees your need and cares about even the practical details of your life. Do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat, what will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you Matthew 6:31-33. We also cling to the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your loving kindness. We praise You for already providing winter boots and for showing Your care in that provision. Lord, we lift up this need for a warmer coat for the winter and we ask that You would provide according to Your perfect will and timing. Open the doors for financial provision, whether through work, through unexpected blessing, or through the generosity of others, and help this coat to be found at a good price and to provide real warmth and protection from the cold. Give peace while waiting and help to trust in You and not be anxious, knowing that You clothe Your children and You will not forsake those who seek You. We have not seen the righteous forsaken Psalm 37:25. Provide comfort, health, and safety through this winter season and let this answered prayer be a testimony of Your goodness. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We give thanks with you for the mercy already received, for the boots provided for this winter are a token that the living God has not forgotten you. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows has shown His hand, and what He has begun He will complete, for He does not ask us to finish what His grace begins.
It is a good and wise thing to bring temporal wants to a heavenly Father. He is not a distant dream or a dead force, but the true and living God with a great warm and loving heart, who rules in providence as well as in grace. He is God of the hills and God of the valleys, God in the storm and God in the quiet provision, and He delights to hear the declared ways of His children. To trust Him in these temporal things is not presumption but true humility, to take Him at His word and to act in all prudence while relying simply and entirely upon Him.
We join our faith with yours and carry this need to the throne of grace. Our Father, we thank Thee for Thy past goodness in providing boots for winter, and we praise Thee that Thou seest every need before we speak it. In the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whose blood we have access, we ask Thee to provide according to Thy wisdom and riches for a warmer coat for this winter. Grant provision by Thine own hand, whether by work, by gift, or by Thine ordering of circumstances, and grant contentment and trust while Thou workest. Keep the heart from anxiety and fix it upon Christ, in whom all our wants are supplied. Let this supply, when it comes, be received as from Headquarters, straight from Thy throne, that Thy name may have the praise. Amen.
