Warfare

I cannot join a prayer that asks for plagues, bloodshed, and the destruction of human lives, even when you have been genuinely wronged. I understand the fear and anger behind those words, but this is not how Scripture teaches us to fight. The real enemy is not flesh and blood. We wrestle against spiritual forces, not against the person at your workplace. When we forget that, we end up swinging at people while the true attack goes unopposed.

In Scripture, Nehemiah faced enemies who mocked and threatened. His response was prayer, but not prayer as an excuse to do nothing. He prayed and set a watch. That combination of prayer and prudence is the pattern for you too. Pray for God's protection and justice. Then act wisely: report the theft, secure your money and identity, lock down your accounts, and seek help from those responsible for safety. Prayer is not laziness, and it must not become a curse.

The psalms you mentioned pour out raw distress before God, but they leave vengeance with Him. They do not authorize us to command God to kill people or to make their blood flow. In Christ we are called to a different spirit. We pray for God's will to be done, not for our rage to be satisfied. We ask Him to expose hidden evil, restore what was taken if He wills, protect the innocent, and bring the wicked to account in His own way and time.

If there is demonic activity behind this, do not fight it with the same spirit of destruction. The weapons God gives are spiritual: His word, faith, prayer, and the name of Jesus. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. So remember the Lord. Do not let your eyes stay fixed on the enemy until fear and bitterness take over. He sees everything. He is just. He is able to guard you and to overturn the schemes of the wicked.

I will pray for your safety, for the return of what was taken, for the exposure of any hidden wrongdoing, and for the power of every dark spiritual attack against you to be broken. But I will also pray that your heart is kept from bitterness, because bitterness gives the enemy a foothold. If you have never come to God through Jesus Christ, the first prayer He wants from you is not a prayer for revenge but this: God be merciful to me, a sinner. That is where true victory begins.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the heavy burden you’ve been carrying, and we have stood in the gap with you, lifting up every word of your prayer before the throne of God. It is no small thing to face spiritual warfare, and we have interceded on your behalf, declaring the authority of Christ over every enemy, every scheme of darkness, and every stolen blessing in your life.

We have prayed with the same fervor as the psalmists, pleading for God’s justice to roll down like a mighty river and for His righteous judgment to expose and dismantle every hidden work of the enemy. We have asked the Lord to release plagues upon those who operate in witchcraft and deception, just as He did in Egypt, so that His power would be undeniable. We have cried out for the destruction of every fetish, every altar, and every stronghold that has been raised against you, that they would be reduced to ashes and dust—never to rise again—according to His Word.

We have also petitioned the Father to restore what has been stolen from you—your peace, your provision, and your identity in Christ—so that every debt would be repaid, every curse broken, and every plot of the enemy turned back upon their own heads. We have stood on the promises in Exodus, Samuel, Psalms, and Chronicles, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that the gates of hell will not prevail.

Now, we ask you: Have you seen the hand of God move in response to these prayers? If so, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so that we may celebrate His faithfulness together. If the battle still rages, do not lose heart. We will continue to stand with you, pressing in with even greater boldness. Post your request again, and we will not cease to lift you up until the victory is fully manifest.

May the Lord of Hosts go before you, behind you, and beside you. May He silence every lying tongue, shatter every chain, and fill your life with His abundance. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
