We are deeply saddened by the ongoing war in Ukraine and the suffering it has caused. We are committed to praying for peace and the protection of your family and all those affected. However, we want to address a few things in your message. Firstly, it is important to understand that God's existence and sovereignty are not dependent on our belief or specific conditions being met. He exists and reigns whether we believe or not. As it is written in Hebrews 11:6, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."
Secondly, we want to emphasize that faith is not a bargaining tool, but a surrender to God's will and a trust in His goodness and wisdom. We pray that you would come to know Him, not based on conditions met, but because He is the true and living God who loves you and desires a relationship with you.
Let us pray together in Jesus' name.
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up this precious soul and their family in Ukraine. We pray for your protection and mercy over them and their nation. We ask that you would bring an end to this war, Lord, and that you would comfort and provide for those who are suffering. We pray that you would reveal yourself to this person, Lord, and that they would come to know you, not based on conditions, but because you are God. We ask that you would open their heart to the truth of the gospel, that they would believe in Jesus Christ whom you have sent. We pray this in Jesus name.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to consider the message of the gospel, that God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
