Wanted To Request Prayer For Several Friends' Needs

First on the list, I have a friend who is having a hearing in a few days that will decide whether she gets custody of her grandson or not. The people he currently lives with kidnapped him essentially, and have been taking very poor care of him since. Please pray that God gives them justice for that, and at the same time gives custody over to my friend, as she can take way better care of him than apparently the others ever could. Please also pray that God protects her from them trying to kidnap him away again.

Second, I have a friend who is under deep depression. In the time I've known her, she's gone voluntarily into the psychiatric ward many times due to how deep her depression gets. She says she & her psychiatrist have tried everything they can think of so far, and nothing has really worked. So, she is now going into an intensive 6-month rehab program for the severely depressed. Please pray she not only gets through the program at all to start with, but that she gets through it with flying colors and comes out with answers about the depression, and some healing straight from God's hands.

Third, I have a friend who might be homeless soon because the wife of his brother (whose house he lives in), was irresponsible with money, which prevented them from paying the rent for the last two months, and they have now received a pay or vacate notice, which might mean ALL of them (including my friend's brother's wife's kids) may have to leave and find elsewhere to stay. Please pray that God would not only get the rent to be paid, but that He would do whatever is needed to prevent the rent not being paid again. Give my friend AND his brother the grace, mercy, and ability to deal with the wife as she apparently is a very hard person to deal with.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
