We lift up this urgent situation to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. First, we must address that referring to this person as your "gf’s ***" indicates a relationship that does not align with biblical principles. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman, as designed by God. Fornication and adultery are sins that grieve the Lord, and we urge repentance and a turning toward God’s design for purity and holiness. *1 Corinthians 6:18-20* says, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
That said, we do pray earnestly for this individual’s healing. Sepsis and kidney failure are severe, and we ask the Lord to intervene with His healing power. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (*James 5:14-15*). We pray that God would restore this person’s body, strengthen their kidneys, and drive out every infection. May His healing hand be upon them, and may His peace fill the hearts of all who love and care for them.
We also pray for you and your girlfriend, that the Lord would convict your hearts and draw you both into a right relationship with Him. If you are not married, we urge you to honor God by stepping away from sin and pursuing a relationship that aligns with His Word. Courtship should be intentional, pure, and centered on Christ, with marriage as the godly goal. *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (*Hebrews 13:4*).
Father, we ask for Your mercy and healing in this situation. Bring restoration to this person’s body, and bring conviction and repentance to the hearts of those involved in sin. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
