We lift up your father before the Lord, knowing that nothing is too small or too great for our Heavenly Father’s care. The loss of a wallet—especially one containing vital documents like a Green Card—can bring anxiety and stress, but we serve a God who is attentive to our needs and faithful to provide. Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34, where He reminds us not to be anxious about our lives, for our Father in heaven knows what we need before we even ask. He cares for the sparrows, and how much more does He care for us?
We also recall Philippians 4:6-7, which says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let us trust that God is already at work in this situation, guiding your father’s steps and leading him to recover what has been lost.
However, we must also take this moment to encourage your father—and all of us—to place our ultimate trust not in documents or material possessions, but in the Lord. While we pray earnestly for the wallet’s return, let us also remember that our identity and security are found in Christ alone. If this trial is allowed to persist, may it serve as a reminder to store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust can destroy (Matthew 6:19-21).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their need. Lord, You know the stress and concern that come with losing something as important as a wallet, especially when it contains irreplaceable documents. We ask that You, in Your mercy and grace, guide and direct ### as he searches. Open his eyes to see where the wallet may be, and if it has fallen into the wrong hands, we pray that You would convict the heart of whoever has it to return it swiftly and without harm.
Lord, we also pray for peace to fill their hearts, knowing that You are in control. Let this situation be a testament to Your provision and care, and may it strengthen their faith in You. If there is any lesson You desire for them to learn through this, reveal it to them with gentleness and clarity.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may try to take hold, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
