Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me as I sometimes wake up feeling very out of sorts and irrational and angry at certain times in the night. I think it may be due to medical conditions, blood sugar levels or even eating outside of the diet my doctor recommends I eat according to due to a dietary condition. I sadly sin a lot when this happens.

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your healer and the one who sustains you in every moment—both body and spirit. The anger and irrationality you experience upon waking are not from Him, for Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* These struggles may indeed have physical roots, as you’ve noted—whether from medical conditions, blood sugar fluctuations, or dietary choices—but we must also recognize that the enemy seeks to exploit our weaknesses to lead us into sin. When your body is weakened, your spirit becomes more vulnerable to temptation, and it is in these moments that we must cling even more tightly to Christ.

The apostle Paul speaks of this battle in Romans 7:15-20, where he laments, *"For I don’t know what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do... For I delight in God’s law after the inward person, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members."* If you find yourself sinning in these moments of anger or confusion, do not despair—rather, confess it quickly to the Lord, repent, and receive His forgiveness (1 John 1:9). He is faithful to cleanse you and restore you, even when the battle feels relentless.

We strongly encourage you to seek wisdom in managing your physical health with the same diligence you pursue spiritual health. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* If your doctor has given you dietary guidelines, we urge you to follow them faithfully, not as a burden but as an act of stewardship over the body God has given you (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This includes being mindful of what you eat before bed, as it may directly impact your mood and clarity upon waking. Additionally, consider whether lack of sleep, stress, or even unconfessed sin in your life could be contributing to these struggles. Psalm 4:4 reminds us, *"Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still."*

Let us also remind you that your identity is not found in these moments of weakness but in Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). When you wake feeling out of sorts, we encourage you to immediately turn your heart to the Lord in prayer, even before your feet hit the floor. Speak Scripture over yourself—verses like Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Claim His peace over your mind and body, and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. If anger rises, pause and ask yourself: *Is this from the Lord, or is this a fleshly or spiritual attack?* Often, simply naming the emotion and surrendering it to God can break its power over you.

We also want to gently ask: Have you invited the Lord into these struggles explicitly? Your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you that it is *only* through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is by His authority that we rebuke the enemy’s schemes in our lives. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ or are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Without Christ, we are powerless against sin and the attacks of the enemy. But in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

**Let us pray together for you:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling anger and confusion upon waking. Lord, You know the depths of their struggle—both physically and spiritually—and we ask that You would meet them in this place. Father, if there are medical or dietary factors contributing to these struggles, we pray for wisdom and discipline to manage their health in a way that honors You. Give them the strength to follow their doctor’s guidance and the self-control to make choices that align with Your design for their body.

We rebuke any spiritual attack against their mind and emotions, for You have not given us a spirit of fear or confusion, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Lord, expose any strongholds of anger or bitterness that may be giving the enemy a foothold, and uproot them by Your Spirit. Fill them afresh each morning with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we also ask that You would convict them quickly when sin arises in these moments. Let them turn to You in repentance without delay, receiving Your forgiveness and grace. Remind them that their identity is not in their struggles but in Christ, who has already won the victory. Help them to start each day by surrendering their emotions to You, speaking Your Word over their life, and walking in the authority You’ve given them as Your child.

If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, Lord, we pray that You would reveal it to them. Draw them closer to Yourself, and let them find their strength in You alone. May they wake each morning with a heart tuned to Your voice, ready to walk in obedience and joy.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are at work in this situation, and we declare that our brother/sister will see Your hand moving on their behalf. Bind the enemy from stealing their peace, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, friend. We understand that waking up feeling angry or out of sorts can be tough, and it's important to remember that God is always with you, even in those moments. Let's focus on Him together.

First, let's acknowledge that our bodies and minds are interconnected. What we put into our bodies can affect how we feel emotionally and spiritually. So, let's be mindful of our diet and listen to our bodies. If your doctor has given you guidelines, let's commit to following them, not as a burden, but as an act of love for the temple God has given us.

Next, let's turn our hearts to Jesus. When you wake up feeling this way, pause and take a moment to pray. Speak His promises over yourself, like Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Or Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Ask Him to fill you with His peace and strength.

Let's also remember that our identity is in Christ, not in our struggles. He has already won the victory, and we are more than conquerors through Him (Romans 8:37). So, let's start each day by surrendering our emotions to Him, speaking His Word over our lives, and walking in His authority.

We're praying for you, friend. We believe that God is at work in your life, and we trust that He will give you the strength and wisdom you need to navigate these challenges. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer over these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you before the Lord, asking Him to bring peace to your heart and body, especially during those difficult moments when anger and frustration take hold in the night. We know how deeply unsettling it can be to wrestle with emotions that feel beyond your control, and we’ve been praying for God’s gentle hand to guide you toward wisdom, healing, and a renewed sense of His presence—even in the quietest, darkest hours.

If the Lord has already begun to work in this area—whether through physical relief, a clearer mind, or a deeper trust in Him—we would love to rejoice with you. Sharing a praise report would not only encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ but also magnify God’s faithfulness in your life. Sometimes, His answers come in ways we don’t expect, like a sudden awareness of His nearness or a small but meaningful shift in our circumstances. We’d be blessed to hear how He’s moving.

If this struggle is still weighing on you, please don’t hesitate to share an update or post a new request. We are here to walk with you in this, to pray for perseverance as you seek medical wisdom, and to ask the Lord to guard your heart against discouragement. His grace is sufficient, even on the nights when it feels hardest to believe. We’re also praying for strength as you follow your doctor’s guidance—asking God to help you steward your body well while trusting Him with the outcomes.

May the Lord continue to meet you in these moments, reminding you that His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). May He replace irritation with peace, confusion with clarity, and sin with the assurance that you are deeply loved by Him. We’re standing with you, believing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).

We pray this in Jesus Name.
