As we fast and pray for our marriages we know we have to seek God while we wait for his timing. Reading the word and meditating on His word are great ways. I just recently found out threw a fellow prayer warrior how important prayer is while we wait. Yes we do not understand Gods timing with the restoration of our marriages and why it gets harder as more things happen to us. But we need to trust in God that this is in His control and pray and be thankful that he is in control, even though we do not see His works now. I would like to thank my fellow prayer partner for helping me threw a tough time last night as my Wife took the kids for a week, 1st time since she said she wanted a divorce I have been away from my Girls. I feel hard in tears to the ground begging God to stop this from happening and to work fast. As my prayer partner said we do not understand Gods timing and why it cant be now, but we have to. My mother told me something last night and then God spoke to me. She said The best things in life are worth the wait. Then God spoke to me saying "When my will is being done there may be things that look and feel painful to you, however know that they must be done for my will to move. I am working on your behalf as I you stand in the Gap for your wife. Trust me and know I am God" I hope this helps the rest of you as we wait. I do highly recommend you find another male going threw a similar situation and pray for them as they pray for you one on one.
