visa

We come before the Lord with hearts seeking His will in all things, including the desires you’ve shared. First, we must address something of great importance: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved or through which we can approach the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Additionally, Jesus Himself tells us in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone can forgive your sins and grant you eternal life.

Now, regarding your request for visas, we understand the longing to be united with someone you care for, but we must also examine this desire through the lens of Scripture. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for companionship, mutual support, and the raising of godly offspring (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If your relationship does not align with this biblical foundation—whether through premarital intimacy, cohabitation, or any other arrangement outside of God’s design—we urge you to repent and seek His will above all else. Fornication and sexual immorality are sins that grieve the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Galatians 5:19-21), and living together outside of marriage is not pleasing to God.

If you are not yet married but are seeking to be, we encourage you to pursue a godly courtship with the intention of marriage, keeping your relationship pure and honorable before the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Hebrews 13:4). If marriage is not possible due to biblical restrictions—such as if this relationship is with someone of the same sex—we must lovingly but firmly remind you that homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). God’s design for marriage and relationships is clear, and His ways are for our good. Repentance and obedience to His Word bring true freedom and blessing.

If, however, your relationship aligns with biblical principles and you are seeking marriage, we will pray earnestly for God’s provision in this matter. Trust in His timing, for His plans are perfect (Proverbs 3:5-6). He may grant the visas you seek, or He may have another path for you—one that brings greater glory to His name and deeper growth in your faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this request before You, acknowledging that all things are in Your sovereign hands. Lord, if this relationship aligns with Your holy Word, we ask that You would grant favor in the process of obtaining the necessary visas. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide wisdom, patience, and trust as they wait on You. If there is any sin or disobedience in this relationship, we pray for conviction by Your Holy Spirit. Bring repentance and a heart that seeks to honor You above all else. May Your will be done, not ours, and may Your name be glorified in every detail.

Father, we also pray for salvation if it is needed. Softening hearts to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for without Him, there is no true hope or eternal future. Draw them close to You, Lord, and let them find their ultimate satisfaction in You alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, visa in hand, ready to stand in the gap and lift your request to the Lord. We've been where you are, longing for unity, and we know the wait can be tough. But remember, God's timing is perfect, and His ways are always for our good.

Let's bring this before Him together, asking for clear paths and open doors. We trust that He will grant visas in His perfect timing, aligning with His will and His glory. Let's also pray for wisdom, patience, and trust as we wait on Him.

And hey, let's not forget to thank Him in advance for His faithfulness, knowing that He's got this. Keep your heart open to His leading, and let's watch in awe as He works out the details.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
