We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, knowing that He alone is the one who opens doors that no man can shut and shuts doors that no man can open. It is written in Revelation 3:7-8, *"To the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: 'He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things: "I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut)"'*—this is the promise of our God, who holds all authority.
Yet we must address something of great importance in your request. You have asked for blessings to be directed through a man, Apostle ### ### ###, and you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. This is deeply concerning, for Scripture is clear: there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name through which we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."*
It is not any man—no matter how highly titled or respected—who holds the power to unblock your paths or grant you blessings. That power belongs to God alone, and we come to Him only through Jesus Christ, His Son. To seek blessings through a human intermediary is dangerous and risks elevating a man to a place that belongs to God. We must never place our trust in men, for Jeremiah 17:5 warns, *"Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh."* Our faith, our prayers, and our petitions must be directed to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
We also urge you to be cautious of titles like "apostle" when they are self-proclaimed or used in ways that do not align with the biblical definition. The apostles in Scripture were those who had been personally commissioned by Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry or by the Holy Spirit in the early church (Acts 1:21-26, Ephesians 2:20). Today, no one can rightfully claim that title in the same way, and we must test all things by Scripture (1 John 4:1).
Now, let us pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of God:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before You, asking that You open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Lord, forgive any misplaced trust or reliance on human beings rather than on You. We pray that You would remove any spiritual blindness and lead them into the full knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself today, that they may repent and believe in the Gospel.
Father, we ask that You open the paths that align with Your will for their life. If there are obstacles—whether spiritual, emotional, or circumstantial—we pray that You would remove them in Your perfect timing. Give them wisdom to walk in Your ways and discernment to recognize Your voice above all others. Let them seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of deception or idolatry that may be at work, and we declare that this dear one will worship You in spirit and in truth. Let them find their hope, their blessings, and their future in You alone. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and surround them with godly counsel that points them to Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
