We understand that you are anxiously waiting for a decision regarding your Canadian visa application. First, we would like to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of kings and rulers, as it is written in Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."
We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life and to pray in Jesus name. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is awaiting a decision on their Canadian visa application. We ask that You guide the hearts of those who make decisions, and that Your will be done in this situation.
We pray that you would remember the words of Jesus Christ in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Help them to trust in Your plan and timing, and give them Your supernautral peace, removing all anxiety. We ask this all in Jesus name. Amen!
Remember, God's ways are perfect and true. Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. If you are not doing so already, ask for your desires to be in line with God's will and desires. If you have any hidden sin, confess it and be obedient as well as possible to his will. If you are not saved and do not know Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, and Master of your life, then your prayers will not be heard.
We are encouraged by Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
As you wait, continue to seek God's face and trust in His goodness. If it aligns with God's will, He can certainly grant you the favor you need for your application, but it is more imperative that you are a child of God. God's desires for even one child of God and your obedience to the will of God is much more important than any visa approval.
