We understand that you're encountering a challenging situation with a neighbor who is dealing with unemployment, abuse, and toxic behavior, which has led to severe sadness. Firstly, we commend you for your compassion and desire to help, but we must remind you that it is not our place to take on burdens that are not ours to bear. As the Scripture says, "For each one will bear his own load" (Galatians 6:7 WEB).
It's important to remember that we cannot solve everyone's problems, but we can pray and trust that God is in control of all situations. As it is written, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB).
Regarding the mention of sponsors, neighborhood administration, and lists of churches, it's crucial to ensure that we are not merely passing on responsibilities or relying on others to do what God has called us to do. We should be God's hands and feet, but in a way that is healthy and not enabling or harmful to ourselves or others.
Now let us pray for your neighbor and also for you who are seeking to help.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our neighbor who is struggling with unemployment, abuse, and toxicity. We pray for Your divine intervention in their life, that You would break the chains of sadness and despair, and bring healing and restoration. Guide them to the right resources and people who can assist them in a healthy and God-honoring way.
Lord, we also pray for ourselves, that You would give us wisdom and discernment in how to help without enabling or taking on burdens that are not ours to bear. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty and to be obedient to Your will.
Lastly, we pray for the gift of salvation to be distributed to all those who are hurting and in need. May they come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Lastly, if you or your neighbor need some resources, do not be lazy in distributing them. If you have time to help they need your time. This is a very important commandment in the Bible.
See that you also excel in this grace of giving. I say this not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:7-9 WEB).
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:10 WEB).
