Vida's Mom

Father God, thank You for welcoming Vida's mom into her eternal home with You. As much as it hurts to part with the earthly vessel of those we love, it is somehow easier when we know they are with You. Thank you for this woman's life and the Godly influence she had over her children and grandchildren. Thank you for the Christian home she and her husband provided for Vida and her siblings. I pray for Your greatest measure of comfort and healing upon each member of this family left behind. Help them to be comforted by the promise that this is just our temporary home. Praise You that Your Word is true, Your love unfailing. In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, draw near to this family and give them Your strength, hope and comfort. Amen.

Loving Father, I continue to stand in the gap this day for this amazing family. May Your peace and comfort be all around them, may they feel You near in every moment. As they make arrangements and do the things that need to be done, please place a hedge of protection and blessing around them that they not become overwhelmed. Bring sweet moments and memories to mind and guide their path. In the name of Jesus, bless and comfort them as only You can. Amen.

In addition to her mother passing away, Vida is healing from her foot surgery and caring for her sons needs. Please give her restoration and strength. Carry her with a warm and gentle love. Be especially near her father at this time, give him a sense of Your presence and peace. In the name of Jesus, we praise You for the ways in which You care for us in all seasons of life. Amen.
