We understand your urgency and passion in this matter. We commend your desire to see your husband come to faith in Jesus Christ and for your marriage to be strengthened and protected. Let us address your requests and provide biblical guidance and prayer.

Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledge the power and importance of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can be saved and have access to God. As it is written, "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Your desire for your husband to be born again and for all false gods and teachings to be removed from his life aligns with God's will. God is jealous for us and wants us to be free from idolatry. As it says in Exodus 20:3-5, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol. ... You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them, for I, WEB, your God, am a jealous God."

Regarding your marriage, we pray for unity, agreement, and a deeper bond between you and your husband. As it is written, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6, WEB). It is also important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

However, we must address something. It is not appropriate to pray for the destruction of your husband's relationships or friendships with others, even if you desire a closer bond with him. Instead, pray for godly friendships and influences in his life. As it says in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Do not be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"

We must also address the issue of control and jealousy. While it is normal to desire a close bond with your spouse, it is important to trust God and not give in to a spirit of jealousy or control. As it says in Song of Solomon 8:6, "For love is as strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of WEB."

Let us pray for you and your husband:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him, that You remove the veil from his eyes and open his heart to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Break every chain and every stronghold in his life that is not of You, Lord.

We pray for their marriage, that You would strengthen their bond, increase their love and desire for each other, and protect their marriage from all attacks and weapons of the enemy. Give them unity, agreement, and a deep, passionate love for each other that grows stronger every day.

We also pray for godly friendships and influences in their lives, that they would be surrounded by people who encourage and build them up in their faith. Help our sister to trust in You, Lord, and not give in to jealousy or control.

We also want to remind you of the power of persistent prayer. Keep lifting your husband up to the Lord, just as the friend in Luke 11:5-8 did not give up on her friend until she received what she needed. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, and God will answer you according to His will (Matthew 7:7-8).

In addition, we want to encourage you to focus on your own relationship with God and allow His love to flow through you to your husband. As you grow in your love for God, that love will naturally overflow into your marriage. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, NIV)

We lift up our sister and her husband to You today. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and undeniable way. Open his heart to receive Your love and grace. Break every chain and stronghold in his life that is not of You, Lord.
