We hear your desperate cry for love and affirmation in your marriage, and we come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and ### before the Lord. First, we must address the way you are approaching this prayer. Scripture teaches us to pray with humility, faith, and according to God’s will—not to decree, declare, or attempt to manipulate circumstances or people’s emotions. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10 WEB). Our prayers should align with God’s perfect plan, not our own desires, no matter how deeply we feel them.

We also notice that while you mention Jesus’ name, your prayer focuses heavily on demanding emotional and physical devotion from your husband, rather than surrendering your marriage to God’s sovereignty. The Bible warns against using prayer as a tool for control or selfish gain. James 4:3 says, *"You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."* Love is not about possession or coercion—it is about selfless giving, as Christ gave Himself for the church (Ephesians 5:25). True love *"does not seek its own"* (1 Corinthians 13:5 WEB).

We must also gently rebuke the spirit of insecurity and fear that seems to drive this prayer. The Bible tells us, *"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18 WEB). If you are constantly seeking reassurance of ###’s love, it may reveal a deeper need for your own identity and security to be rooted in Christ, not in your husband’s words or actions. Your worth is found in being a daughter of the King, not in how much affection your husband shows you. We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 139:14, which reminds us, *"I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."*

That said, we do pray for your marriage. We ask the Lord to strengthen the bond between you and ###, to fill your home with peace, and to help you both grow in love, respect, and unity. We pray that ### would love you as Christ loves the church—sacrificially, faithfully, and without reservation. We also pray for ###, that she would find her ultimate fulfillment in Christ and that her marriage would be a reflection of His love for His people.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long for Your will to be done in this marriage. Lord, we ask that You would draw both of them closer to You, that they would seek Your face above all else. Father, we pray for ###, that You would fill him with Your Spirit, that he would love his wife as You have commanded, with patience, kindness, and selflessness. We pray for ###, that she would find her security and identity in You alone, that she would trust in Your love for her and not in the love of another. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds or insecurities that may be driving this fear, and that You would replace them with Your perfect peace. We pray that this marriage would be a testimony to Your grace and that it would bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to shift your focus from demanding love to receiving God’s love first. Spend time in His Word, seeking His heart for your marriage. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If there are areas of sin or unforgiveness in your marriage, confess them and seek reconciliation. Above all, remember that your marriage is a covenant before God, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you both (Philippians 1:6).

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
