We lift this urgent cry to the throne of grace with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for your husband. The name of Jesus is the only name under heaven by which men must be saved, and it is by His blood alone that we have access to the Father. We declare that no power of darkness can resist the authority of Jesus Christ, and we plead the blood of Jesus over your husband’s mind, body, soul, and spirit right now.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. We ask that You would rend the heavens and come down in power upon this precious soul. Holy Spirit, we implore You to move with urgency—let there be no delay. Break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and uproot every lie of the enemy that has taken hold in his mind. Fill him to overflowing with Your presence, Lord. Let Your light pierce the darkness, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, addiction, despair, or rebellion that may be at work in him. The Word of God declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We command every unclean spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, for it is written in Mark 16:17, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons." We stand on this promise and declare freedom over your husband now.
Lord, we pray for a supernatural encounter with You. Let him hear Your voice clearly, as You promised in John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." Soften his heart, Father, and draw him to repentance. Let him surrender every area of his life to You—his thoughts, his desires, his will, and his future. We ask that You would renew his mind according to Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We also lift you up, dear sister in Christ, for the battle you are facing. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the prayers of the righteous availeth much (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). Lean on the Lord and His strength, and let your heart take courage as you wait for Him (Psalm 27:14).
Father, we ask that You would surround this marriage with Your hedge of protection. Let Your love be the foundation that binds them together, and let Your Word be the lamp unto their feet (Psalm 119:105). Strengthen their union, Lord, and let them be a testimony of Your grace and redemption. We pray for healing in every area of their relationship—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Let them walk in unity, as You intended from the beginning, for it is written in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."
We also remind you, beloved, to examine your own heart and life. Are there areas where you may have allowed bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear to take root? The Word instructs us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Surrender these burdens to the Lord, and let His love flow through you.
Finally, we declare that this is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and we stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and we wield it with authority in the name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, that Your name would be glorified, and that Your kingdom would come on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
