We join with you in fervent agreement, lifting your husband before the throne of grace, for we know that our God is mighty to save and transform! Your heart’s cry echoes the truth of Scripture: *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened"* (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB). Yet even more, we stand on the promise that *"the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear"* (Isaiah 59:1, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is the very foundation of our intercession, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). What a mighty God we serve—One who breaks chains, shatters strongholds, and brings the dead to life!
Your husband’s salvation is not a small thing in the eyes of the Lord. We declare with you that every false god, every Islamic teaching, every lie of the enemy that has held him captive is being *completely demolished* by the power of the blood of Jesus. The Word proclaims, *"The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have ears, but they don’t hear; neither is there any breath in their mouths. Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them"* (Psalm 135:15-18, WEB). But our God is *living*, and He is moving mightily in your husband’s life even now! We rebuke every spirit of Islam, every demonic assignment, every generational curse, and every soul tie—especially with his ex-wife or any other woman—that has sought to hinder his surrender to Christ. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). That includes your marriage, your husband’s heart, and his eternal destiny!
Yet we must also speak truth in love: while we storm the gates of heaven for his salvation, remember that *no one* can be saved through another person’s faith. Your husband must *personally* repent and surrender to Jesus. You cannot force his heart, nor can you "decree" his salvation into existence—only the Holy Spirit can convict him (John 16:8). Your role is to *pray without ceasing* (1 Thessalonians 5:17), to *live in godly submission and respect* as his wife (Ephesians 5:22-24, 1 Peter 3:1-2), and to *trust the Lord’s timing*, for *"the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Release any burden of trying to "make" this happen—cast it upon Jesus, for He cares for you both (1 Peter 5:7).
As for the bondage of lust, pornography, and distractions like excessive phone or social media use, we bind these spirits in Jesus’ name! *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). We pray that the Lord would *expose* these sins to your husband, bringing godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), and that He would replace every impurity with a *hunger for righteousness* (Matthew 5:6). May the Lord break the power of addiction and fill the void with *His presence*—for *"the one who sins is a slave to sin"* (John 8:34, WEB), but *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed!"* (John 8:36, WEB).
We also lift up your marriage, that the Lord would restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). If there has been unfaithfulness, emotional distance, or hardness of heart, we ask the Lord to *soften* your husband and draw him back to you in *holy, Christ-centered love*. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her; that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and without defect"* (Ephesians 5:25-27, WEB). May your husband rise up as the *spiritual leader* God calls him to be, covering you both in prayer and walking in integrity. And may your love for one another reflect the love of Christ—patient, kind, and selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
Now, let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting our sister and her husband into Your hands. Lord, You see the desperation of her heart, and You know the condition of his soul. We thank You that You are *not willing that any should perish*, and so we ask for a *divine encounter*—one that shatters every stronghold of Islam, every lie of the enemy, and every chain of sin. Lord, *visit him in dreams and visions* as You did with Paul, Cornelius, and so many others in Scripture. Let him *see* Jesus high and lifted up (Isaiah 6:1), and let the conviction of the Holy Spirit fall upon him like a weight he cannot ignore. Break his heart for his sin, Lord, and draw him to *genuine repentance*—not out of obligation, but out of a *desperate need for You*.
We *bind and cast out* every demonic spirit assigned to him—spirits of Islam, lust, pornography, manipulation, control, distraction, hardness of heart, and rebellion. We *sever every ungodly soul tie*, especially with his ex-wife or any other woman, and we *command* his heart, mind, and body to be *completely surrendered to Jesus Christ alone*. Let no false god, no addiction, no past sin have dominion over him any longer, for *"greater is He who is in [him] than he who is in the world!"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
Lord, we ask for a *supernatural transformation* in his affections. Where there has been coldness, bring *fire*. Where there has been distance, bring *intimacy*—first with You, and then with his wife. Restore their marriage, Lord, and make it a *testimony of Your redeeming power*. Let him *desire* his wife as Christ desires the Church (Ephesians 5:25), and let her *respect and submit* to him as unto You (Ephesians 5:22). Heal every wound, Lord, and replace every lie with Your truth.
Father, we also pray for our sister—strengthen her faith, guard her heart, and fill her with *Your peace that surpasses understanding* (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that *You are working*, even when she cannot see it. Let her *trust in Your timing*, and let her *rest in Your sovereignty*. Give her wisdom to know how to love her husband well, and grace to wait upon You.
We declare that *no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17). We speak *life* over their union, *holiness* over their home, and *salvation* over her husband’s soul. Let this be the season where *every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord* (Philippians 2:10-11)—including the knee and tongue of this man.
We ask all this in the *powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ*, our Savior and Redeemer. Let Your will be done, Lord—*on earth as it is in heaven*. Amen and amen!*
Stand firm, sister. Keep praying. Keep believing. And *keep your eyes on Jesus*, for He is the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The battle is the Lord’s, and *He has already won*. We are praying with you and trusting for a *miracle*—not just in your husband’s life, but in your marriage and in your own walk with Christ. May you both be *radically transformed* for His glory. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
