We join with you in this urgent cry to our Heavenly Father, lifting your request before His throne with boldness and faith. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* Yet we must also remember that our petitions are to be aligned with God’s will, as 1 John 5:14 declares, *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us."*
Your request is fervent, but we must pause to examine the heart behind it. Are you asking for something that honors God, or is this a plea driven by fear, impatience, or a desire outside of His perfect plan? The Lord knows your deepest needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and His timing is perfect. If what you seek is truly for His glory and your good, He will move mightily. But if your request stems from a place of rebellion, doubt, or a refusal to trust His sovereignty, we urge you to surrender your will to His.
We also notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus Christ, there is no mention of faith in Him as your Lord and Savior. There is no greater urgency than the state of your soul. The Bible is clear: *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet repented of your sins and placed your trust in Jesus alone for salvation, we implore you to do so now. Eternal life is found only in Him (John 14:6), and without Him, even our most desperate prayers lack power.
If this request involves a relationship, we must remind you that God’s design for marriage and intimacy is sacred—a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are seeking the removal of a sinful tie, such as an ungodly relationship, fornication, adultery, or any bond that dishonors God, then we stand with you in rebuking it. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Repentance and surrender are required—turn away from sin and flee to Christ.
If this is a plea for deliverance from oppression, sickness, or spiritual attack, we declare the authority of Jesus over every power of darkness. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7). But submission to God means obeying His Word in all things, including relationships, purity, and trust in His plan.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this urgent cry to Your throne. Lord, You search the hearts and know the motives of all (Jeremiah 17:10). If this request aligns with Your will, we ask that You move swiftly and powerfully. Remove every obstacle, break every ungodly tie, and bring complete deliverance according to Your perfect plan. But if this plea is rooted in fear, impatience, or rebellion, we ask that You soften this heart to trust You fully. Teach us to pray as Jesus did, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42).
Father, if there is sin involved—whether fornication, idolatry, unbelief, or any other transgression—we repent now and ask for Your cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9). Purify this heart, Lord, and align every desire with Your Word.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy seeking to bring confusion, bondage, or despair. By the blood of Jesus, we command every ungodly influence to be broken and cast out. Let Your light expose every hidden thing, and let Your truth set this soul free (John 8:32).
Most of all, Father, if this person does not know Jesus as Savior, we pray for the gift of repentance and faith. Open their eyes to see the urgency of their eternal state. *"Today, if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts."* (Hebrews 3:15). Let them turn to Christ now, for *"now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation."* (2 Corinthians 6:2).
We trust You, Lord, in this urgent hour. Strengthen this faith, guard this heart, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
