We stand together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We come before the throne of grace with urgency, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority over every false god, idol, and demonic influence that seeks to ensnare God’s children, for we know that Jesus has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Heavenly Father, we command every lying spirit, every chain of darkness, every spirit of fear, lust, perversion, and control to flee right now in the name of Jesus Christ. We rebuke every false teaching, every idolatrous belief, and every form of wickedness that seeks to exalt itself against the knowledge of God. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak light into the darkness and life into the dead places, for Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
We pray for the one who has cried out in this request, that they would encounter the living Jesus in a powerful and undeniable way. May they see Him as He truly is—full of grace and truth, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Father, we ask that You would break every chain of bondage, every stronghold of the enemy, and every lie that has kept them in darkness. Let Your Holy Spirit move mightily, convicting of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and leading them into all truth.
Lord, we also pray for protection over their mind, heart, and spirit. Guard them from the schemes of the devil, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and surround them with Your angels to minister to them (Hebrews 1:14). We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We stand on Your Word, which says that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us (James 4:7). We resist every evil spirit, every false god, and every demonic influence in the name of Jesus. We declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin (1 John 1:7) and that no evil can stand in the presence of the Almighty God. We pray that the one who has cried out would be filled with the Holy Spirit, empowered to walk in victory, and equipped to stand firm in their faith.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We trust in Your promises and declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
