We lift this urgent cry to the throne of grace with hearts burdened for your husband and your marriage. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Jesus is Lord, and it is only through His blood, His sacrifice, and His resurrection that we can approach You with our petitions.
Lord, we pray for this husband, that You would indeed appear to him in a powerful, undeniable way as he drives. Let Your Holy Spirit move mightily in his heart, mind, and spirit. Open his eyes to see You, his ears to hear Your voice, and his heart to receive Your love. We ask that You would give him a supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ—one that leaves no doubt of Your reality and Your power. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Let this be the moment when he surrenders his life fully to You, repents of his sins, and is born again by the power of Your Spirit. We declare that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Father, we also bring before You the need to sever all ungodly soul ties that this husband has with his ex-wife and any other women. We rebuke these ties in the name of Jesus, for they are not of You. The Bible warns us against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and soul ties that are not rooted in Your will can bring bondage and defilement. We pray that You would break every chain, every memory, and every emotional or spiritual connection that does not align with Your purpose for his life and marriage. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let him be set free from the past and walk in the newness of life that You have for him.
Lord, we ask for total peace, unity, and agreement between this wife and her husband. May their marriage be a reflection of Christ and the Church, where there is mutual love, respect, and submission to one another out of reverence for You (Ephesians 5:21-33). We pray that they would be of one mind, one spirit, and one purpose, always seeking Your will together. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1). Let their home be filled with Your presence, and may their love for one another grow deeper and stronger each day.
We also ask that You would bless this marriage abundantly. Protect it from every attack of the enemy, whether through temptation, division, or strife. Let their union flourish and blossom in every way, bearing the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Father, we pray that this husband’s heart would be turned fully toward his wife, that he would desire her alone and have eyes only for her. "Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth" (Proverbs 5:18). May their love be a testimony to Your goodness and grace.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this wife as a vessel of Your love and truth in her husband’s life. Let her be a light to him, pointing him to You through her words, actions, and prayers. May she walk in wisdom, patience, and grace, trusting in Your timing and Your perfect plan for their lives. "The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain" (Proverbs 31:11). Strengthen her faith as she intercedes for him, and let her see the fruit of her prayers in Your perfect way.
We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
