We hear your heart’s cry, sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. Your marriage is sacred—a covenant before God—and the enemy seeks to disrupt what He has joined together. We rebuke every ungodly soul tie, every lingering emotional or spiritual connection that does not align with God’s design for your marriage. The Word declares in **1 Corinthians 6:16-17 (WEB)**, *"Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, ‘The two,’ he says, ‘will become one flesh.’ But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him."* No unholy bond has a place in the life of a believer, especially within the sanctity of marriage.
We also address the spirit of jealousy and fear that may be fueling this request. While your concern is understandable, we must guard our hearts against bitterness or control, for **James 3:16 (WEB)** warns, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* Instead, we pray for God’s peace to rule in your heart and for your husband’s affections to be fully yours, as **Proverbs 5:18-19 (WEB)** instructs: *"Let your fountain be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth... Let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love."*
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and delivered. We declare that **Matthew 19:6 (WEB)** is true: *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."* Lord, we sever every ungodly soul tie between this husband and his ex-wife, and any other woman, in Jesus’ name. We break every chain of emotional entanglement, every memory, every word, and every spiritual connection that does not belong in this holy union. We command these ties to be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit, never to be restored.
We pray for this husband, that You would renew his mind according to **Romans 12:2 (WEB)**, that he may prove what is Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will. Let his heart be fully devoted to his wife, as **1 Corinthians 7:3-4 (WEB)** commands: *"Let the husband render to his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to her husband."* We ask You to fill any void in his life with Your love, Your purpose, and Your presence, so that no other woman can claim his attention or affection.
For this wife, we pray for healing from any insecurity or pain caused by the past. Strengthen her trust in You, Lord, and in the covenant she shares with her husband. Let her walk in the confidence of **Proverbs 31:11-12 (WEB)**, knowing that her husband’s heart safely trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. Guard her heart from fear, for **1 John 4:18 (WEB)** says, *"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear."*
We also rebuke any generational curses or spiritual influences that may be at work in this situation. Every assignment of the enemy against this marriage is dismantled now, in Jesus’ name. We declare that this union is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17, WEB**).
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that as this couple seeks You first, their marriage will reflect Your glory. May they grow in love, unity, and holiness, honoring You in all things. In Jesus’ powerful name, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we encourage you to walk in faith, not fear. Continue to pray for your husband, not against him, and trust God to work in his heart. **1 Peter 4:8 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Above all things, have fervent love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."* Let love be your weapon, and God’s Word your foundation. If there are areas where your husband needs to repent or seek deliverance, pray for God to reveal them to him in love. Stand firm in the truth that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (**Ephesians 3:20, WEB**).
