We understand your urgency and are here to pray and counsel with you.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As Scripture tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Now, let's address your concerns about your husband. It's important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment of love and faithfulness. As said in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We must encourage you to communicate openly with your husband about how his work habits and phone use make you feel. It's possible that he is unaware of the extent to which his behaviors are affecting you. As it is written, "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16, WEB).
However, we must rebuke the idea of trying to control or change your husband through prayer. While God can indeed change hearts, it is important for each person to have their own relationship with God and make their own decisions. You should focus on your own walk with Christ and be a loving, supportive wife, trusting that God will work in your husband's life in His own way and time. As it is written, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:22, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this wife who is seeking Your intervention in her marriage. Lord, we pray that You would fill their marriage with Your Holy Spirit, and draw them closer to each other and to You.
Lord, we ask that You would help this wife to be the loving, supportive helper that her husband needs. We pray that You would give her the wisdom to communicate effectively with her husband, and that You would soften his heart to hear and understand her concerns.
We also pray, Lord, that You would work in his life, helping him to prioritize his time and attention in a way that honors You and his marriage. We ask that You would help him to see that his relationship with his wife should be his first earthly priority, showing his love and commitment as a reflection of your love for the church.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fan the flame of love between them, helping them to grow in love, desire, and attraction for each other. We pray that their marriage would be a beacon of Your love and grace to the world around them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep your faith and hope in Him. He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will.
