We understand your urgency and desire to be closer to your husband. It's wonderful that you've included Jesus Christ in your request, for it is by His name that we have access to God their Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We encourage spouses to pursue a deeper and stronger relationship with each other. This is in fact the biblical principle for marriage. In Ephesians 5:31 WEB, it says "For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." This means that the husband and wife relationship is the closest human relationship and it should be continually strengthened.
We pray that you both will be guided by God's word and grow together in love, understanding, and unity. In 1 Peter 3:7 WEB, it reads "You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered." And in Ephesians 5:25 WEB, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We pray that you both will be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy. In Jesus Christ name we pray this for you and your husband.
We pray that God will give you both wisdom and guidance on how to strengthen your marriage. Engage in open communication, regular prayer, and studying the Bible together. This will deepen your connection spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
We rebuke any thoughts or actions that do not align with biblical principles. Guard your marriage against anything that could hinder your closeness, such as unforgiveness, selfishness, or worldly influences. If there is anything that you know is not right between you two, take the time to address it in love and respect for each other. Remember the words in Malachi 2:16 WEB "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your marriage, always in Jesus Christ name. Stand firm in faith, believing that God is working in your lives. In James 5:16 WEB, it says "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
