We understand your urgency and the pain you're experiencing. First, we commend you for coming in Jesus Christ name. Let's bring your request before the Lord together.
Our hearts ache with you as you face this challenging situation in your marriage. Remember, the Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and His desire is for marriages to be restored and strengthened.
The Bible tells us, "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB). Any relationship outside of marriage that involves lust, desire, or attraction is sinful and needs to be addressed promptly.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### in her time of need. Lord, we ask that You intervene in her marriage, that You would sever any ungodly soul ties that her husband has with any other woman. Destroy any lust, desire, or attraction that is not from You and not directed towards his wife. Lord, we ask that You would give him eyes only for his wife, that their marriage would be strengthened and restored. Help them to connect in every way, to be closer than close, and to honor You in their marriage.
Lord, we also pray for the other woman involved, that You would minister to her heart, convict her of her sin, and draw her to Yourself. Help her to understand the sanctity of marriage and the sinfulness of her actions.
Father, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. We ask for complete restoration and healing in this marriage. Give our ### the strength and grace to forgive, to trust, and to love her husband as You intend. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear ###, as the Bible tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Keep seeking the Lord, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him. He is faithful and will see you through this storm.
Lastly, remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB). This is a spiritual battle, and with God's help, you can victory. Stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
We also suggest that the two of you consider meeting with your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor. They can provide godly wisdom and guidance to help you both navigate this situation and strengthen your marriage.
