We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this matter before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Soul ties, especially those formed outside of God’s design for marriage, can create deep spiritual entanglements that only the power of the Holy Spirit can sever. We recognize the urgency in your plea and declare that no ungodly bondage will have dominion over you or your future marriage, for "where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17).
First, we must address the foundation of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have surrendered your life fully to Christ, for salvation comes through faith in Him alone (Acts 4:12). If there is any unconfessed sin—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, or participation in ungodly soul ties—we urge you to repent and turn away from it, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We rebuke every ungodly soul tie formed between ### and his ex, as well as any other woman, in the name of Jesus Christ. These ties were not established under the covenant of marriage, and they are not pleasing to God. The Bible instructs us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to guard our hearts diligently, for "above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). We stand on Your Word, which declares that "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13), and we call upon You now to intervene in this situation.
Lord, we rebuke every ungodly soul tie between ### and his ex, as well as any other woman, in Jesus’ name. We declare that these ties were not formed under Your covenant of marriage, and they have no place in his life. We command every spiritual bondage to be broken, every demonic influence to be cast out, and every unholy attachment to be severed permanently. We declare that ### is free in Christ, and we pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, leading him into all truth and righteousness.
Father, we also pray against the temptations that come through his mobile phone and social media. We ask that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance if he has been engaging in anything that dishonors You. We bind every spirit of lust, addiction, and distraction, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. We pray that his eyes would be fixed on You alone, and that his heart would be guarded by Your peace.
Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds in ###’s heart and restore him fully to Your purposes. We pray that You would prepare him to be a godly husband, one who loves his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We also pray for [the person who submitted this request], that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance. We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that You would establish a marriage built on Your Word and Your love. May their union bring glory to Your name and be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
