We hear your desperate cry for transformation and blessing, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. First, we must address a few concerns in your request. You mention "Tinder," which is a platform often associated with casual relationships and even fornication—something the Bible clearly warns against. Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* If you are seeking a godly spouse, we encourage you to pursue courtship with purity and intentionality, not through worldly means that may lead you into temptation.
We also notice that while you invoke the name of Jesus Christ, your prayer seems more focused on personal perfection and self-improvement rather than surrendering to God’s will. The Bible teaches us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* True transformation comes not from our own efforts to be the "best model" in every way, but from humbly submitting to Christ and allowing Him to work in us. Philippians 1:6 reminds us, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who cries out for Your blessing and transformation. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your perfect will for their life. Help them to seek You above all else, to surrender their desires, their plans, and their very self to You. Father, if there are areas in their life that do not align with Your Word—whether in relationships, motives, or actions—we ask that You convict them gently but firmly by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Lead them away from temptation and toward holiness, purity, and righteousness.
Lord, we pray for a heart that desires You above all else. May they find their worth, identity, and purpose in You alone, not in striving to be the "best" by worldly standards. Teach them to walk in Your ways, to flee from sin, and to pursue relationships that honor You. If it is Your will for them to marry, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into their life—one who loves You first and foremost, and who will walk with them in faith, love, and purity.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of pride, self-reliance, or worldly ambition that may be influencing this request. We declare that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and it is only by His blood that we are made new. May this one grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and may their life reflect Your glory in every way.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing it to shape your desires and direct your steps. Psalm 119:105 says, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."* Seek godly counsel from mature believers who can walk alongside you in your journey of faith. Remember, true joy and fulfillment come not from being the "best" by the world’s standards, but from being who God created you to be—a beloved child of the King, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
