Let us first anchor this prayer in the truth of Scripture, for it is God’s Word that brings life, conviction, and power.

The Bible tells us in **Ezekiel 36:26-27 (WEB)**, *“I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.”* This is the cry of your heart for your husband—that God would remove any hardness and fill him with His Spirit. We also remember **Acts 16:31 (WEB)**, *“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”* Your faith and prayers are a powerful testimony, and we trust God to move mightily in your husband’s heart.

Yet we must also address the intensity of your words, dear sister. While your love and desire for your husband are clear, we gently remind you that marriage is not ultimately about the depth of human emotion or passion, but about reflecting Christ’s love for His Church. **Ephesians 5:25 (WEB)** says, *“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her.”* Your marriage is a covenant, and your prayers should align with God’s will for holiness, unity, and mutual submission in Christ. The love you seek must be rooted in agape—the selfless, sacrificial love of Christ—not merely in emotional or physical desire.

We also notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus in your request, though you have used "in Jesus name" at the end. It is critical to understand that **there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved** (**Acts 4:12, WEB**), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’”* Your prayers must be centered on Christ, for He is the mediator between God and man. Without Him, our prayers are empty. We encourage you to always approach God through the name of Jesus, acknowledging His lordship and authority in every request.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and moves on behalf of those who seek You with all their hearts. Lord, we lift up this sister and her husband to You, asking that You would do a mighty work in their lives and marriage.

Father, we pray for this husband’s salvation. Soften his heart, Lord, and remove any stony resistance to Your Spirit. Like Saul on the road to Damascus, encounter him in a way he cannot deny. We pray for a deep, spiritual connection between this couple—a bond that is rooted in You, Lord. May they grow together in faith, praying together, studying Your Word together, and serving You as one. Let their love be pure, their desires holy, and their commitment unshakable. Sister, we encourage you to continue praying fervently, but also to surrender this situation entirely to God. Trust that He is working, even when you don’t see immediate results. **1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)** tells us to *“cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”* Rest in His care, and let your prayers be filled with faith, not fear.

We also urge you to examine your own heart. Are you seeking your husband’s affection more than you are seeking Christ? **Matthew 6:33 (WEB)** reminds us, *“But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”* When your first love is Jesus, everything else falls into its proper place. Pray that God would fill you with His love so overflowingly that it spills into your marriage.
