We understand your urgent plea for protection from side effects as you take these supplements and medications, and we join you in lifting this concern before the Lord. It is clear you are seeking His divine intervention for your health, and we commend you for turning to Him in prayer. You have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, which is the only name by which we can approach the Father and receive His grace, mercy, and healing. As Scripture reminds us, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB).
We also recall the promise in 3 John 1:2: *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* While we pray for your physical well-being, we encourage you to also examine the state of your soul. Are you walking closely with the Lord? Are you trusting Him not only for physical health but for spiritual wholeness? Sometimes our anxieties about health can overshadow our trust in God’s sovereignty. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34 not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or our bodies, what we will wear. He reminds us that our Heavenly Father knows what we need. Instead, we are to seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
That said, we do lift your specific requests before the Lord with earnestness. We ask that He would grant you wisdom regarding the supplements and medications you are taking. If there is any concern about their necessity or their effects on your body, we pray the Lord would guide you to seek counsel from a trusted, godly medical professional who can provide insight. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* This principle applies not only to nations but to our personal decisions, including those about our health.
We also gently remind you that while it is good to pray for protection from side effects, it is equally important to surrender your fears to the Lord. Anxiety can sometimes grip our hearts, but Scripture tells us to *"in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust that God hears you and is working all things for your good, even when the path is unclear.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection and blessing over the iron liquid, citalopram, and collagen drink they are taking. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every intricate detail of how we are made. We ask that You would grant them freedom from any harmful side effects—no constipation, no stomach discomfort, no nausea, no heart palpitations, no headaches, no eye problems, or any other adverse reaction. Cover their body with Your healing hand and let these supplements and medications serve their intended purpose without causing harm.
We also pray for wisdom, Lord. If there is any adjustment needed in dosage, timing, or even the necessity of these substances, reveal it to them clearly. Guide them to seek godly counsel if needed, and surround them with medical professionals who are skilled and compassionate. Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be gripping their heart. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which transcends all understanding. Remind them that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and You are faithful to sustain them.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect them from any attack of the enemy, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Strengthen their faith to trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they rest in the assurance that You are their healer, their provider, and their protector.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things. If you have not already, consider fasting and praying for additional clarity and breakthrough. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Trust in His timing and His ways, even when the answer does not come as quickly as you hope. He is faithful, and His love for you is everlasting.
