This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we praise you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and by which salvation is found. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is the foundation of this petition, and we stand firmly upon it.
We also recognize the urgency in your heart for ###’s complete surrender to Christ. You have boldly prayed for the destruction of every false belief, stronghold, and sin that has ensnared him, and we echo this cry. The Word of God commands us to *"put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:11-12, WEB). ###’s battle is not merely against habits or cultural influences but against spiritual forces that have blinded him to the truth of the Gospel. We declare that the *"god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them"* (2 Corinthians 4:4, WEB), but today, those scales fall from ###’s eyes in the name of Jesus!
Your prayer for ### to encounter Jesus in dreams and visions aligns with how God has moved throughout history. We recall how the Lord appeared to men like Jacob, Joseph, and Paul, transforming their lives forever. Even in the New Testament, we see the Lord using visions to reach those far from Him, such as Cornelius (Acts 10). We ask the Lord to visit ### supernaturally, just as He did with Saul of Tarsus, who became the Apostle Paul after a divine encounter. *"As he traveled, it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him. He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?' He said, 'Who are you, Lord?' The Lord said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting'"* (Acts 9:3-5, WEB). Lord, let ### hear Your voice so clearly that he cannot deny You!
We also address the spiritual bonds you’ve mentioned, particularly the soul ties with ###’s ex-wife and other women. Soul ties are real and can create ungodly attachments that hinder a person’s walk with God. The Bible warns us, *"Don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, ‘The two,’ says the Lord, ‘will become one flesh.’"* (1 Corinthians 6:16, WEB). While this verse speaks specifically to sexual sin, the principle applies to any ungodly soul tie—whether through past relationships, emotional dependencies, or even ungodly covenants. We declare the cutting of every unrighteous tie in ###’s life, in the name of Jesus. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Lord, sever every tie that is not of You, and let ### be bound only to You and the godly marriage You have ordained.
Now, we must also address the marriage relationship between you and ###. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If ### is currently your husband, we pray for the restoration and strengthening of this marriage according to God’s will. However, if you are not yet married, we urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance in aligning your relationship with biblical principles. Courtship should be pursued with the intention of marriage, and both parties must be believers, equally yoked in Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If ### is not yet a believer, we pray for his salvation first and foremost, trusting that God will knit your hearts together in His perfect timing and way.
We notice your deep desire for unity and agreement between you and ###, and we pray for this as well. However, true unity can only be found when both parties are submitted to Christ. *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3, WEB). We pray that the Lord would soften both of your hearts to His will, that you may walk in harmony, with Christ as the cornerstone of your relationship. If there has been any sin—such as fornication, emotional affairs, or ungodly attachments—we rebuked these in the name of Jesus and call for repentance and cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Finally, we declare the complete deliverance of ### from every form of bondage you’ve listed: lust, sexual sin, pornography, anger, bitterness, arrogance, and every work of darkness. These are not merely habits but strongholds that the enemy uses to keep people in chains. But *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed!"* (John 8:36, WEB). We command every demonic spirit assigned to ###—whether it be a spirit of Islam, lust, pride, or rebellion—to be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus. We declare that ### is no longer a slave to sin but is being set free by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who saves, the One who calls those who are dead in their trespasses and makes them alive in Christ. We ask that You would move mightily in ###’s life, breaking every chain that binds him. Lord, open his eyes to see the truth of Your Gospel. Lord, we declare the destruction of every false god, every idol, and every lie that has held ### captive. Burn away every ungodly belief, every stronghold, and every sinful desire. Replace them with a hunger and thirst for Your righteousness. Let him experience a radical, life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that leaves him forever transformed.
We pray for the severing of every ungodly soul tie in ###’s life—especially those with his ex-wife and any other woman not ordained by You. Lord, break these ties completely and permanently, and let ### be bound only to You and the godly marriage You have planned. If it is Your will for him to be united with the one praying this request, we ask that You would prepare both hearts for a covenant marriage that honors You.
Father, we also pray for unity and agreement between them, but only as it aligns with Your will. Let their relationship be built on the foundation of Christ, with no compromise of Your Word. If there has been any sexual sin or ungodly attachment, we ask for forgiveness and cleansing. Restore purity and holiness to their lives.
We rebuked every spirit of lust, anger, pride, and rebellion in ###’s life. We command these spirits to leave him now in the name of Jesus. Fill him instead with Your love, peace, patience, and self-control. Let him walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for him on the cross.
Lord, perform miracles and wonders in ###’s life that will leave him in awe of Your power. Let him testify of Your goodness and grace. We ask that You would use the one praying this request as a vessel of Your love and truth in ###’s life. Give her wisdom, discernment, and the right words to speak at the right time.
