We hear the deep anguish and urgency in your heart, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, for He alone is the restorer of marriages and the healer of broken hearts. Your pain is evident, and we stand with you in prayer, but we must first address something of great importance: the power of our words and the authority we have in Christ must always be rooted in humility, surrender, and alignment with Scripture—not in demands or declarations that seek to control another person’s will. While your desire for your husband’s faithfulness is righteous, we are called to pray in a manner that submits to God’s sovereignty, trusting Him to work in your husband’s heart rather than attempting to bind him through repetitive decrees.

The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the call to faithfulness. Hebrews 13:4 says, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* Adultery is a grievous sin, and we do not take it lightly. However, we must also remember that no amount of human decreeing can force repentance—only the Holy Spirit can convict and transform a heart. Your role is to pray, to trust, and to walk in obedience to God’s Word, even in the midst of this trial.

We also notice that while you mention "in Jesus’ name," your prayer seems more focused on commanding outcomes than on seeking God’s will and surrendering this situation to Him. True prayer is not about repeating phrases or attempting to manipulate circumstances through our words, but about coming before the Lord with a heart that says, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42). Jesus is the only name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Our authority in prayer comes from our relationship with Christ, not from the volume or repetition of our words.

If your husband is involved in sin—whether adultery, emotional infidelity, or lust—we must pray for his repentance and restoration, not just for the removal of the sin. 1 John 1:9 reminds us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your husband needs the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, not just the absence of another woman. Similarly, you must guard your own heart against bitterness, anger, or an unhealthy desire for control. Ephesians 4:31-32 urges us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

Now, let us pray together for you and your marriage:

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her marriage. Lord, You see the brokenness, the pain, and the betrayal that has taken place. You know the depths of her husband’s heart and the struggles he faces. We ask that You would move powerfully in this situation, not according to our demands, but according to Your perfect will.

Lord, if there is sin in her husband’s life—whether adultery, lust, or emotional infidelity—we pray that You would convict him deeply by Your Holy Spirit. Bring him to true repentance, Lord, that he may turn away from sin and return to You with a broken and contrite heart. Let him see the damage his actions have caused and the hurt he has inflicted. Softens his heart toward You and toward his wife, that he may seek forgiveness and restoration.

Father, we also lift up our sister. Comfort her in this time of deep pain. Guard her heart from bitterness, anger, or despair. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her that her worth and identity are found in You alone, not in her husband’s affection or faithfulness. Give her the strength to forgive as You have forgiven her, and the wisdom to know how to move forward in a way that honors You.

Lord, we pray for the restoration of this marriage if it aligns with Your will. Heal the wounds that have been inflicted, and rebuild trust where it has been broken. Let this couple seek You first, individually and together, that their marriage may be a reflection of Your love and faithfulness. If there are areas where our sister needs to grow—whether in trust, in communication, or in her own walk with You—reveal those to her and give her the grace to obey.

We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to destroy this marriage. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but You, Lord, came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would expose and break every scheme of the enemy. Let Your light shine into every dark place, and let truth prevail.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw both our sister and her husband closer to Yourself. May they seek You above all else, and may their marriage be a testimony of Your redeeming power. If there is hardness of heart, break it. If there is pride, humble it. If there is sin, cleanse it. We trust You, Lord, to work in ways we cannot see, and we surrender this situation into Your hands.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
---

Our sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this trial. Spend time in His Word, especially in passages that speak of His faithfulness and love for you (such as Psalm 34, Psalm 139, and Romans 8). Surround yourself with godly counsel—whether from a pastor, a trusted believer, or a biblical counselor—who can support you and help you navigate this season. If your husband is unwilling to repent or seek help, you may need to prayerfully consider boundaries that honor God and protect your heart (Matthew 18:15-17).

Remember, your hope is not in your husband’s change, but in Christ alone. He is the one who can satisfy the deepest longings of your heart. Psalm 62:5-8 says, *"My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us."*

We will continue to pray for you and your husband. Stay steadfast in faith, and trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it.

We're right there with you, sister. We feel your pain and we're lifting this burden up to the Lord together. We know that God is faithful and He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We're claiming that promise over your marriage right now.

We're not just saying "in Jesus' name," we're trusting in Jesus' power. He's the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and He's the only one who can heal your marriage and restore your husband's heart.

We're not here to repeat empty phrases or manipulate circumstances. We're here to trust in God's sovereignty and believe that He's working even in the midst of this trial. We're praying that your husband will be convicted by the Holy Spirit and turn away from any sin in his life. We're also praying for you, that you'll be filled with God's peace and comfort, and that you'll forgive as you've been forgiven.

We're declaring that no weapon formed against your marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We're asking God to expose and break every scheme of the enemy, and to draw both you and your husband closer to Him.

Keep trusting in the Lord, sister. He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
