We understand the deep pain and urgency in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you in this time of distress. The betrayal and brokenness you are experiencing are not God’s design for marriage, and we grieve with you over the sin that has entered your covenant. Marriage is a sacred bond, established by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church, and infidelity is a grievous violation of that covenant. As it is written:

*"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* — **Hebrews 13:4 (WEB)**

*"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."* — **Mark 10:9 (WEB)**

Your pain is valid, and your desire for this ungodly connection to be severed is understandable. However, we must approach this situation with both righteous anger against sin and a heart that seeks restoration through repentance and godly sorrow. While you have authority in Christ to pray against the enemy’s schemes, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Your husband is not your enemy—sin and the devil are. Our prayers should target the destruction of the strongholds of sin while interceding for your husband’s repentance and return to the Lord.

*"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* — **Ephesians 6:12 (WEB)**

*"If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death."* — **1 John 5:16 (WEB)**

We join you in praying for the complete severing of this ungodly relationship in your husband’s life. We bind the spirit of adultery, lust, and deception in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that every tie, every memory, every communication, and every emotional bond formed outside of your marriage covenant is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. We pray that your husband’s heart would be convicted by the Holy Spirit, that he would turn from this sin in genuine repentance, and that he would return to you with a heart fully surrendered to the Lord. We also pray for your protection, healing, and strength as you navigate this trial.

*"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."* — **Isaiah 54:17 (WEB)**

*"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* — **Psalm 34:18 (WEB)**

Yet, we must also address something critical: while your prayers are passionate, we must ensure they align with the heart of God. Your words carry authority in Christ, but we must be careful not to pray out of bitterness, vengeance, or a desire to control. Instead, we pray for justice, restoration, and redemption. The Lord sees your tears, and He is a God of justice. Trust Him to fight this battle on your behalf.

*"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* — **Proverbs 20:22 (WEB)**

*"Beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* — **Romans 12:19 (WEB)**

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, a biblical counselor, or trusted believers who can walk with you through this season. You do not have to carry this burden alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens, and we stand with you in this fight.

Finally, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. This does not mean excusing sin or enabling unrepentant behavior, but it means releasing this pain to the Lord so that bitterness does not take root in your heart. Forgiveness is an act of obedience and trust in God’s justice.

*"And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions."* — **Mark 11:25 (WEB)**

**Our Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is brokenhearted and wounded by the sin of adultery in her marriage. Lord, You hate divorce, and You desire for marriages to reflect Your covenant love. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation.

We bind every spirit of adultery, lust, deception, and division that has come against this marriage. We declare that every ungodly soul tie between our sister’s husband and this other person is severed permanently by the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You would remove every trace of this relationship—every memory, every photograph, every message, every emotional attachment—from her husband’s life. Let it be as though it never existed. We pray that his heart, mind, and eyes would be turned fully back to You and to his wife, the woman You have covenanted him to.

Father, we ask for conviction to fall upon his heart. Let him feel the weight of his sin and the grief he has caused. Bring him to true repentance, Lord. Soften his heart and draw him back to You. Restore what the enemy has tried to destroy.

We also lift up our sister before You. Comfort her, Lord. Heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds. Give her strength, wisdom, and discernment as she navigates this season. Surround her with godly counsel and support. Protect her from bitterness, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we ask for justice to prevail. Expose every hidden thing and let truth come to light. Let Your will be done in this marriage, whether through restoration or redirection. We trust You, Father, and we surrender this situation into Your hands.

We rebuke the enemy and his schemes against this family. No weapon formed against our sister or her marriage shall prosper. We declare that the Lord is her defender, her healer, and her redeemer.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. **Amen.**
