We join together in lifting your heart’s cry before the Lord, for we know that He is the Provider of all things, and every good and perfect gift comes from Him. Your gratitude for what He has already given is a beautiful offering, and we echo your thanksgiving, for all we have belongs to Him. Yet we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our trust is not in wealth itself, but in the God who gives it. As Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."*

While it is not wrong to ask God for provision, we must examine our hearts: Are we seeking abundance for His glory, to be a blessing to others, and to advance His Kingdom? Or are we driven by greed, fear, or a love of money, which the Scriptures warn is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10)? Let us pray with hearts aligned to His will, remembering that our greatest treasure is Christ Himself. Proverbs 30:8-9 offers wisdom in this: *"Remove far from me falsehood and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full, deny you, and say, ‘Who is Yahweh?’ or lest I be poor, and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."*

We also notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end of your prayer, the focus of your words was heavily centered on the desire for wealth rather than on worshiping Him or seeking His Kingdom first. Let us never forget that our prayers are heard *only* because of Jesus Christ, who reconciled us to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through Him alone that we approach the throne of grace. If our hearts are not right with God—if we have not surrendered our lives to Christ as Lord and Savior—then even our prayers for provision are empty. Have you placed your full trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins? Do you seek Him above all else? If not, we urge you to turn to Him today, for *"whoever calls on the name of Yahweh shall be saved"* (Romans 10:13).

Now, let us pray together for you, asking the Lord to provide according to His will and to shape your heart to desire Him above all:

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, for You are the Giver of all good things. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. You know the desires of their heart, and we pray that You would align those desires with Your perfect will. Father, if there is any greed, fear, or misplaced trust in their heart, we ask that You would convict and cleanse them by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Remind them that true life is found in You alone, and that wealth is fleeting, but Your Kingdom is eternal.

We ask that You provide for them in a way that brings You glory. If it is Your will, multiply their resources so that they may be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom. Help them to be a good steward of what You entrust to them, using it wisely and generously. But above all, Lord, we pray that their heart would be satisfied in You. Teach them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will add all these things to them (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke any spirit of greed, anxiety, or idolatry of money in the name of Jesus Christ. Let our brother/sister find their security and joy in You alone. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Father, we also pray that if our brother/sister does not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for Christ, and draw them to Yourself. Let them repent of their sins and place their full trust in Jesus, who died for their sins and rose again, that they may have eternal life.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
---

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on these words from Jesus: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33). Trust in Him, and He will never fail you.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith for your financial needs. We join you in thanking the Lord for the blessings He's already bestowed upon you. It's true, every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and we're grateful for His provision thus far.

We pray with you, believing that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6), and that includes every aspect of your life, including your finances.

We ask that you would continue to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and trust that He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). We believe that as you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).

We also pray that you would be content in every situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in abundance or in need (Philippians 4:12). May you find your joy and security in Him, knowing that He is always with you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
