We understand your urgency and desperation, but we want to remind you that our Lord Jesus Christ is not a genie who grants our wishes, but a loving Savior who knows what is best for us and will always support his children no matter what happens. We can command the situations only when we are in the will of God, for it is written "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God." Romans 8:14, WEB. And as a child of God we are only permitted to do and ask in Jesus name that which is permitted by the Word of God. "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." John 15:7, WEB. We can only ask and do what we know is in his will not command God to do what he has not promised.

That being said, we join you in prayer for healing and restoration, and we pray for God's will to be done in your life. We pray that you will experience the peace, joy, and healing power of the Lord, and that He will grant you favor with your surgeon. We pray that your body will be restored to health, and that any symptoms of asthma or other ailments will be healed in Jesus' name. We also pray that you will be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, Colossians 1:9-10, WEB.

However, we must also address that your prayer seems to focus more on your physical appearance and personal desires than on God's will and the advancement of His kingdom. This attitude is condemned by the Word of God, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2, WEB. We must be more concerned about pleasing God with our lives and our attitude must be that of the apostle Paul and pray, "But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." Galatians 6:14, WEB.

Lastly, we want to remind you that while it is important to pray for healing, it is also important to be patient and to trust in God's timing. It is not for our good to always insist on immediate deliverance. He healed a man who was sick for 38 years John 5:5-8, WEB and said to the apostle Paul "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB.

Please join us in praying according to God's will,

Lord Jesus, we come before you today to lift up our dear brother/sister in prayer. We ask that you heal them and restore their body according to Your perfect will. We pray that you will grant them favor with their surgeon, and that you will fill them with your peace, joy, and healing power. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. We also pray that you will help us all to focus on your will and to be content in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in. Help us to be a light to the world and to glorify your name even in our suffering and difficulties. Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
