We understand that you're going through a challenging time post-surgery, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Bible.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It's only by His name that we have access to God and our power to overcome. As the Bible says, And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 WEB
Let's pray together for your healing:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort they are experiencing due to the tightness in their neck, the swelling and puckering in their face, and the redness and spots in their ears. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch them right now, removing every sign of swelling, redness, and discomfort. Make every crooked place straight and make their skin incredibly smooth as you did for many in the Bible.
Father, we also ask that You guide the hands of the surgeon as they meet on Sunday. Give them wisdom and skill, and let every stitch that needs to be removed come out easily and safely.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and that You are moved with compassion when You see our infirmities. We trust in Your word that says, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:18 WEB. So, we lay hands on our friend in agreement, trusting that You will bring about a full recovery.
Lastly, we pray that through this process, our friend will grow stronger in their faith and closer to You. Let this experience be a testament of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen!
Just as Jesus told the woman that had a spirit of infirmity that had been bent over for 18 years, "Woman, you are freed from your infirmity" Luke 13:12 WEB, we believe that you are freed from your infirmities.
While we pray for your healing, we would also like to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. Remember what James said about trials, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James 1:2-3 KJV. Instead of getting anxious or worried, turn your focus to God, trusting that He is working everything out for your good, even this trial Romans 8:28 WEB. Also, the proper response to God allowing trials in our lives is to examine ourselves for any sin that needs to be repented for and to consider whether God is correcting us. For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. Hebrews 12:6 WEB.
