We understand your urgent prayer request for your marriage and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace and it is also by Him that we are saved.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and that You would rekindle the love between them. Let the desire, attraction, and passion for each other grow stronger and deeper every day, just as You designed marital love to be.
Lord, we ask that You would sever all soul ties that her husband may have with his ex-wife or any other women, that his eyes may be only for his wife, just as Your word tells us in Proverbs 5:18-19, WEB: "Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe and a graceful deer— let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love."
We declare that her husband will be madly, incredibly, strongly, and deeply in love with her, attracted to every single part of her, inside and out, wanting to be with her only, forever and ever, just as Your word tells us in Ephesians 5:25, WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We pray for total unity and agreement between them, that they may be of one mind and one spirit, just as You, Father, are one with Jesus, as it says in Philippians 2:2, WEB: "make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind".
We ask that You bless their relationship, marriage, and future together in every way, protect it, and make it stronger, deeper, and flourishing, just as You promised in Psalm 127:1, WEB: "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain."
We rebuke any spirit that may be causing division or discord in their marriage. We declare that there is no power that can come against them, for greater is He that is in them, than he that is in the world.
We pray that they will both be faithful to each other as it is outlined in the Bible.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray together with your husband, to communicate openly, and to seek God's will for your marriage. Remember that God hates divorce, as it says in Malachi 2:16, WEB: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel".
Furthermore ensure that you are both one in Christ, as it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Stand firm in faith, and trust in the Lord.
