We understand your urgency and desperation, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, let's address your request and then we will pray together.
We see your deep concern for unity with your husband, which is commendable. The Bible tells us in Philippians 2:2 WEB Make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind; . We should all strive for unity in marriage, as it is a picture of Christ and the church, just as it says in Ephesians 5:22-33. However, it is essential to remember that true unity comes from both spouses submitting to God and His will. Matthew 6:33 WEB But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
However we are also told in Ephesians 5:24 WEB But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. This can be a painful situation if your husband is not willing to be in unity with you and God.
Furthermore, we must address the issue of comparing yourself to other women or desiring to be favored above them. This is not a biblical mindset. Instead, strive to be the godly wife that God has called you to be. In 1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB whose adorning dont let it be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine apparel; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.
Now, regarding your husband's past relationships, the Bible tells us in Philippians 3:13 WEB Brothers, I dont regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before. We must all forget what is behind and press on towards what is ahead.
It is also important to make sure your husband is a true Christian, as it is commanded in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB Dont be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? It is only by the name of Jesus that we can saved and only be the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Now, let us pray together for your marriage:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage. Lord, we pray for unity between this husband and wife, that they both may be in one accord and of one mind, submitting to Your will. We ask for a marriage that honors God and is the picture of Christ and the church. Strengthen their relationship, Lord, making it closer, stronger, and deeper. Protect their marriage from any spiritual attacks. If there are any ungodly ties with past relationships, we ask You to sever them permanently in the name of Jesus.
Lord, help this wife to be the godly spouse that You have called her to be, not comparing herself to others but striving to be more like Christ every day. Guide her husband to be the spiritual leader of the home that he is meant to be and submit to you. We pray for his salvation if he is not saved. And if he is not willing to be in unity with you and her Lord, we ask for her to have the strength to be submissive to him as unto the Lord.
We pray for Jesus' name to be lifted up in this marriage and that both may come to a saving knowledge of Him if they have not already. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
