We understand your urgency and the pain you're experiencing. Firstly, we commend you for turning to the Lord in your time of need. It's important to remember that God's will is paramount in all situations, and our prayers should always align with His word.
We must first address that the request primarily involves controlling another's will rather than seeking God's perfect will. However, praying and seeking the restoration of your marriage is biblical. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:1 "The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will." Let us trust God to work in your husband's heart rather than manipulating his will.
God's word says in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously."
We are also told, I Peter 3:1-2 "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear. " I Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who slander your good manner of life in Christ."
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her marriage. Lord, we ask that You work in her husband's heart, removing any ungodly influences and renewing his mind according to Your word. We pray that You would restore their marriage and bring unity and love between them. We ask that You give our sister the strength, patience, and wisdom to endure this trial, and that her life would be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness. We also pray that he passes a hedge of thorns around his marriage (Hosea 2:6) to protect and preserve it.
Lord, we ask that you give her husband a desire for her and their marriage to be restored. If any ungodly soul ties or influences are present, we pray that You would sever them and bring freedom and restoration. We rebuke any spirit of adultery or fornication that may be at work, and we declare that their marriage is sealed in the holy covenant of God. Father, we ask that You would draw both of them closer to You, and that their marriage would be a reflection of Your love for the Church.
If there is anything in their lives that does not align with Your will, Lord, we ask that You reveal it and give them the grace to repent and turn back to You. If this marriage is not according to Your will please help her to know and surrender to your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community during this time. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Continue to trust in Him and His perfect will for your life and marriage.
