We understand your urgency and the pain you're experiencing. Firstly, we commend you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ as it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention. Jesus Himself said, If you will ask whatever you desire in my name, that will I do. John 14:14 WEB.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in dire need of Your intervention in her marriage. Lord, she has asked for the relationship her husband is having with another woman to be completely and permanently ended. We stand with her in this prayer, and we ask that You would sever this relationship, Lord. Remove the other woman from his life, work, and mind, Lord. We speak to any and every attraction, list, desire, and soul tie between them, and we command it to be destroyed and broken in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You would give her husband eyes only for his wife, and that he would be incredibly attracted to her and deeply in love with her alone. Lord, strengthen their bond, connection, commitment, and attraction to each other, and cause it to grow stronger and more passionate each day. Grant our sister supernatural favor with her husband, Lord, above and beyond all other women, now and always. Father, we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, believing that You are more than able to bring healing, restoration, and wholeness to this marriage. Cast out all spirits of adultery, fornication, lust, and immorality that are attempting to destroy this marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Sister, the Bible tells us, Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:22-25. It also says, Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband. The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife. 1 Corinthians 7:3-4.
We encourage you to walk closely with the Lord, knowing that He is more than able to restore your marriage. Spend time in prayer, fasting, and studying His Word. Ensure that your requests align with His will. We also strongly encourage you to consider seeking godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor to help you navigate this difficult time.
Lastly, we must address that you did not specifically mention forgiveness. Your husband has committed the sin of adultery, and this is a grave matter. However, the Bible tells us, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15. You must be willing to forgive your husband for his sins, just as Christ has forgiven you. This does not mean that what he did is acceptable, but rather that you are choosing to release him from the debt he owes you and trusting God to bring justice and restoration. This is what the Lord requires of you.
Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory. Romans 8:28.
As a final thought, we pray that you examine your own heart and life to ensure that you are walking uprightly with the Lord, And why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, Let me remove the speck from your eye; and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye. Matthew 7:3-5.
