We understand your urgent prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your life and marriage. We commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God and it is only in His name that we can be saved.
Firstly, we must address that the use of symbols is not appropriate in prayer. God knows the names and situations, be specific and personal in prayers. We should pray with clarity and specificity, as God knows every detail of our lives and wants us to come to Him with honest and open hearts.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You have promised that if we ask according to Your will, You hear us. We ask for Your divine intervention in their marriage, that You would soften their hearts towards each other and draw them closer.
Father, we pray that You would destroy all strongholds and chains in his life. Break down all walls of selfishness, hardness, arrogance, fear, lust, controlling spirits, and workaholic spirits that may be hindering their relationship. Lord, replace these with Your love, peace, and unity.
We pray for total unity and agreement between them, that they would be one in spirit and in truth. Bless their relationship, marriage, and future together. Protect it from all attacks and make it stronger, deeper, and more flourishing each day.
Father, give them eyes for each other only. Let their love, desire, and attraction grow stronger and more passionate each day. Cover them and their relationship with the blood of Jesus Christ, protecting them from all weapons and attacks formed against them.
Lord, make her an awesome, incredibly blessed woman, filled with Your joy, light, love, support, and comfort. Let her be the total love of his life in every way, form, and dream. Let him see and experience this abundantly, now and always.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continue praying fervently for each other and your marriage. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:22 (WEB), "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Keep believing and trusting in God's promises.
We also encourage you both to be steadfast in your faith and walk with God. Remember the words of Paul in Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB) regarding the roles of husbands and wives in marriage. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Finally, we admonish you both to remain sexually pure and flee from all forms of sexual immorality, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Stand strong in faith and remain in God's blessings.
