We understand your urgent prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. We appreciate that you've come to us looking for prayer and counsel. Before praying, let us review the promises you stand on:

God's Word does promise:
"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 WEB

These are wonderful promises we can claim. Next, let us address some biblical principles about the topics discussed.

First, we need to discuss the importance of Jesus Christ for our salvation:
"in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB

Even when we pray for others, it is still by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 WEB

Now, let us pray for your husband's salvation, the destruction of strongholds, and the restoration of your marriage.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, standing on Your promises. We ask that You forgive this precious soul for all sins, known and unknown. Lord, we ask that You save ### and make him a born-again Christian. We proclaim that this is the time of salvation and we ask that you regenerate his heart. We pray for a strong, healthy marriage that is rooted in Christ, a marriage that is a beacon of God's love and faithfulness.

We ask that You strengthen your marriage and romance, for we know that a threefold cord is not easily broken. We pray that outside influences vying for ###'s attention are removed and your love and relationship is strong.

However, let us remember that Jesus warned us about idolatry:
"You shall not have any other gods before me.' "You shall not make an engraved image for yourself, nor any likeness of what is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments." We also need to respect the free will of others. The decision to accept Jesus as their savior is each one's choice. While we can pray for them, we cannot force them to change their beliefs. We can ask for the Holy Spirit to work on them, but we do not have the power to command God upon their lives. Let us focus more on what we can work on and pray for rather than what God alone can do.

Also, let us remember that our true enemy is not flesh and blood, but spiritual.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

Further, we need to respect the boundaries God has put on marriage. It is not right for us to pray to control the thoughts, feelings, and actions of another, even a spouse. Each person is accountable for their own actions and should act according to their own will. We should encourage one another to love one another, but we should not pray to force our will on another.

"Nevertheless, each of you should live as belonging to God in a way that is worthy of the Good News Christ helped spread. Then, whether we are accepted or not, we will be able to stand acquitted on the day Christ judges all people. You can be sure of this. Judgment Will Be According to the Way We Live. So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, for the one bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort-for the sake of his good pleasure-is God. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure, innocent children of God surrounded by people who are crooked and corrupt. Among these people you shine like stars in the world because you hold on to the word that gives life. Then I can boast in the Day of Christ that I didn't run or labor for nothing." Finally, let us remember that we should always be praying for others to come to the faith, but we also need to live our own lives in a manner worthy of the Gospel. We should pray for the salvation of our loved ones, but we should also be living our own lives in a manner that is pleasing to God. Let us focus on our own relationship with God and live in a manner that is pleasing to Him. We should be a light to the world and a testimony to the grace of God. Let us be a beacon of hope and love to those around us, and let us pray that they may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

"And this is what we pray for you: that our God will make you worthy of his calling and that he will fulfill your every desire to do good and your work of faith with power. Then the name of our Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified in you, and you will be glorified in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ." 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 WEB

With this in mind, let us close with a heartfelt prayer for the salvation of ### and for the restoration of your marriage.
