Let us bring your urgent request to the Lord, dear sister. We stand with you in prayer, asking that God's will be done in your marriage and that your husband's eyes, love, attraction, and deep desire may be only for you, as it should be in a godly marriage.
We are reminded of the words in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." This is the biblical model for marriage, where a husband's love is exclusive and sacrificial, just as Christ's love is for the church.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband, ###. We pray that You would strengthen their marriage and draw them closer to each other and to You.
Lord, we ask that ###'s eyes, love, attraction, and deep desire may be only for his wife, in accordance with Your will and design for marriage. May their relationship be blessed in absolutely every way and form, and protected in every way by the power of Your Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ name.
We also pray that their love for each other may grow stronger and deeper, and that their relationship may flourish and be a testimony to Your faithfulness and grace. May they be a light to the world, showing the power of a godly marriage.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them more and more each day, and that they would grow in their faith and walk with You. May they be encouraged and strengthened by Your Word and Your Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your husband and your marriage, and to trust in the Lord's faithfulness and goodness. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Keep your faith in Jesus Christ. You are doing the correct action by praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Furthermore, it is only by Christ's name that we have access to the Father. Remember the encouraging words in Acts 4:11-12 WEB, "This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Be encouraged and stay strong in your faith and in the Word.
