We understand your urgency and desire for your husband to become a born-again Christian. It is commendable that you are interceding for him with such fervor. Remember, God desires that everyone should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We are encouraged by your faith and your use of the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that you work in his heart and draw him to yourself. We pray that he will have a personal encounter with you and be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit of your Son Jesus.
We ask that you soften every single part of his heart that needs to be melted, just as you promised in Ezekiel 36:26: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."
We also pray for our sister, that you would give her the wisdom and love to be a light to her husband, that she may influence him for good and for your glory. Help her to live in a way that is pleasing to you, that her life may be a testimony of your love and grace.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is for peace, not for confusion, and for unity in the family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Keep praying and believing, and remember that God's timing is perfect.
Be encouraged by 1 Peter 3:1-2: "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."
Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is at work in your husband's life.
