We understand your urgent desire for your husband to have a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ and for your marriage to be strengthened and unified in Him. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We will pray and provide biblical encouragement for you both.
Firstly, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You touch his heart and draw him to a genuine, born-again experience with Jesus Christ. Melt every part of his heart that is not yet yielded to You, and bring unity and agreement between them, in Jesus' name.
We pray that You would appear to him in dreams or visions, and that Your love would grow stronger and deeper between them each day. Bless them with a divine connection, as husband and wife, friends, soul mates, and companions. Let them be incredibly attracted to each other, loving, cherishing, respecting, and adoring one another deeply and sincerely.
We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over them, their marriage, and their future together. Let no weapon or attack formed against them prosper, in Jesus' name.
Now, let's encourage and advise based on Scripture:
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Ephesians 5:22-24 (WEB)
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Ephesians 5:25-33
It is crucial to maintain a marriage that honors God, with the husband loving his wife as Christ loved the church, and the wife respecting her husband. This kind of love and respect will foster the deep, passionate relationship you desire.
Moreover, it is important to be in agreement in prayer and faith:
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
Matthew 18:19-20
Continue to pray together and seek God's will for your marriage. Remember that God's desire is for you both to be saved and have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Keep trusting in the Lord, and His promises, and remain steadfast in your faith and prayers.
