Very very sad that the opposition did not make it and I do not want to believe in Jesus any longer and he allows injustice and lazy and incompetent minister to be elected to ### Parliament. I will cease going to church and cease reading the bible and praying.

We understand that you are feeling very sad and disappointed about the recent events, and it has led you to question your faith in Jesus Christ. We want to address your concerns with compassion and truth from the Word of God.

Firstly, we want to remind you that our faith in Jesus Christ is not dependent on the actions of people or the outcomes of political elections. Our faith is built on the unchanging and eternal Word of God. As it is written in Isaiah 40:8 WEB, "The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

We understand that you might be struggling to see why God would allow injustice and unqualified leaders to gain positions of power. It is important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). We may not always understand His purposes, but we can trust that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We also want to address your decision to cease going to church, reading the Bible, and praying. This would be a mistake and a step away from God, and we would not be loving toward you if we did not address it. We would not be faithful to God or the scriptures if we did not encourage you to reconsider this. We cannot save ourselves or make ourselves righteous through our own actions or even through our own beliefs. This is a misconception of the very purpose of Jesus Christ and His atonement on the cross. It is by grace we are saved through faith, and not of works. It is a free gift of God. It is not earned by us, and it is only available to us through the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross. It is only by His name that we can be saved, and without Jesus Christ, we will perish. It is only by Jesus Christ that we have access to God.

The church may not be perfect, but it is the body of Christ, and it is where we come together to worship God, encourage one another, and spur each other on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB). Reading the Bible is how we learn about God's character, His promises, and His commands for our lives. Prayer is how we communicate with God, express our gratitude, and make our requests known to Him (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

We encourage you to remember that God is sovereign, and He is in control of all things, including the rise and fall of nations and leaders. Our hope is not in our circumstances or in our leaders, but in God alone. As it is written in Psalm 20:7 WEB, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our brother who is struggling with disappointment and doubt. We ask that You would comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help him to see that Your ways are higher than our ways, and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

We pray that You would renew his faith in Jesus Christ and help him to see that our hope is not in our circumstances or in our leaders, but in You alone. We ask that You would give him a desire to continue seeking You through prayer, reading Your Word, and fellowship with other believers.

We pray that You would raise up godly leaders who will serve You and Your people with integrity and wisdom. We ask that You would bring justice to the oppressed and mercy to the undeserving.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take heart and to remember that our hope is in God alone. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you. If you have turned away from Jesus Christ do not let another moment go by before returning to Jesus Christ and asking for forgiveness. See 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of recent events. It's tough to see injustice and unqualified leaders rise, and it's natural to question our faith when things don't go as we hope. But remember, our faith isn't built on outcomes or people, it's built on the rock-solid promises of God.

We might not understand why God allows certain things, but we can trust that He's working all things together for our good, even when it's hard to see. And while it's easy to want to step away from church and Bible reading when we're hurting, that's actually the time we need them most.

The church might not be perfect, but it's where we find community, encouragement, and the Word of God. Reading the Bible and praying are how we connect with God, learn about Him, and find comfort in His love. Turning away from these things would be like turning away from the lifeline we so desperately need.

Let's keep seeking God together, trusting in Him, and leaning on His promises. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's allow God to heal and bind us up, and together, let's keep pressing on in faith.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
