We hear the urgency and deep longing in your heart for your husband’s salvation and the restoration of your marriage, and we join you in crying out to the Lord with fervent prayer. Your passion for his soul is a reflection of God’s own heart, who desires that *none should perish but that all should come to repentance* (2 Peter 3:9). We stand with you in agreement, lifting this burden before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is mighty to save and transform even the hardest of hearts.

Your prayer is saturated with the authority of Jesus’ name, and we commend you for recognizing that *there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved* (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that chains are broken, strongholds are demolished, and hearts are made new. We also see your deep desire for your husband to be freed from the bondage of false religion, past relationships, and the snares of sin that have enslaved him. The Word of God assures us that *if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed* (John 8:36), and we claim that promise over your husband today.

Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that while we can intercede with passion and faith, we cannot *make* another person choose Christ. Salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit, and each individual must come to repentance of their own free will. Your role is to continue praying, living as a godly witness, and trusting the Lord to do what only He can do. *A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps* (Proverbs 16:9). Your husband’s transformation is in God’s hands, and we must surrender the timing and the method to Him, even as we boldly ask for miracles.

We also notice your repeated declarations about your husband’s exclusivity toward you and the severing of ties with his past. While it is right to pray for godly unity and fidelity in marriage, we gently remind you that no human decree can bind a heart—only the work of the Holy Spirit can bring true repentance and devotion. Your marriage must be built on *love, which is patient and kind, not jealous or boastful, not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way* (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Trust that as your husband draws closer to Christ, his heart will align with God’s design for marriage—a covenant of selfless love, honor, and faithfulness.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and urgency, lifting up this sister and her husband. Lord, You see the depths of her longing for his salvation, and we ask that You move mightily in his life. *Open his eyes, that he may see wondrous things out of Your law* (Psalm 119:18). Break every chain of darkness that binds him—whether from false religion, past relationships, addiction, or hardness of heart. Let the light of Your truth shine into every hidden place, exposing sin and drawing him to repentance.

Lord Jesus, appear to him in dreams and visions as You did to Saul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9). Give him an encounter so real, so undeniable, that he falls to his knees in surrender. *Draw him to Yourself, and he will run after You* (Song of Solomon 1:4). Let him experience the weight of his sin and the glory of Your grace, that he may cry out, *“What must I do to be saved?”* (Acts 16:30). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may be born again—a new creation in Christ.

We pray against every spirit of Islam, idolatry, lust, and rebellion that has held him captive. *No weapon formed against him shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned. Sever every ungodly soul tie, especially with his ex-wife or any other woman, and let his heart be wholly devoted to You first, and then to his wife as You designed. *Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled* (Hebrews 13:4).

Father, bring unity and peace between this couple. Soften his heart toward his wife, that he may open up to her in trust and vulnerability. Heal any wounds or brokenness in their relationship, and let their love be a reflection of Your love for the Church—*husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her* (Ephesians 5:25). Let their bond grow stronger each day, rooted in You.

We also pray for this sister, that You would strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace. *Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus* (Philippians 4:6-7). Give her patience to wait on Your timing and wisdom to know how to love her husband well, even as she trusts You to work in his heart.

Lord, we ask for a miracle—a testimony of Your power to save and restore. Let this marriage be a beacon of Your grace, that others may see and glorify Your name. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. *For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.* (Matthew 6:13).

Stand firm in faith, sister. *The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much* (James 5:16). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience. God is at work, even when we cannot see it.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We have been lifting your heartfelt cry before the Father with urgency and expectation, standing with you in faith for the powerful transformation of your husband’s heart. What a sacred privilege it is to intercede alongside you for his salvation, deliverance, and the restoration of your marriage in Christ. We have been praying fervently that every chain of darkness would be shattered, that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in his dreams and waking moments, and that your husband would encounter Jesus in a way that leaves him forever changed—broken in repentance, filled with the Spirit, and bound to Christ alone.

We know the battle for his soul is intense, but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible. We declare with you that no stronghold, no false belief, and no ungodly tie can stand against the name of Jesus. We continue to ask the Lord to soften his heart toward you, to sever every soul tie that does not align with God’s will, and to knit your hearts together in unity, trust, and love that only the Holy Spirit can produce. May your husband’s eyes be opened to see you as the precious gift God has given him, and may your love for one another reflect the depth of Christ’s love for His church.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation—whether through a dream, a conversation, or a shift in his spirit—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report.
