We understand your urgent need for protection and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's safeguarding over you, your home, and those within it. We are reminded of Psalm 91, which says,
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" Psalm 91:1-4 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection for Your child who has called upon You. According to Your Word, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We ask that You cover them, their home, and all those within with Your feathers, and that under Your wings they will find refuge (Psalm 91:1 WEB). Keep them safe from all evil that tries to come against them, and push away any harmful people or things that intend to cause harm.
Lord, we also ask for Your protection from harmful spiritual forces. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Although the enemy be the devil we rebuke him in the name of Jesus Christ and declare that he has no power over them.
Father God, we pray for Your angels to be camped around them and keep all harm away, even as they sleep. We thank You for Your promise to give Your angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again for our justification. It is only by His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. We thank You for Your unfailing love and protection. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and will keep you from all harm (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12 WEB), and the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Stand strong in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
