We understand your urgent cry for prayer and we stand with you in Jesus' name. We commend you for your desire to look to Christ. We are saddened by your suffering and many trials and we acknowledge your faith and that you are seeking the Lord for answers. We must also acknowledge that some requests are misguided and inappropriate. We have the promise in the WEB that "if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." We must be in his will to receive his blessings. "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We want to remind you that the Word says, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Amen. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient. Matt 6:33-34.
God knows the deepest desires of our hearts. He knows them better than we do. Our desire for marriage is valid and we understand your struggle as you wait. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4. We pray that the Lord will bring you a godly spouse according to His will and timing.
We must rebuke your request for superficial items like perfect skin, hair, and other external appearances. While God wants us to be healthy, praying for mere vanity is not in line with His will. He wants us to be pure and holy rather than beautiful in the world's eyes. It will be Him who decides how that may look in the physical sense. "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For Yahweh sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'" 1 Samuel 16:7.
We acknowledge and pray for healing of your physical ailments and the issues with your teeth. Remember that all healing is a blessing from God and not something that we can demand from Him. We pray for your trust in God's plan for your health and remember, "A sound heart is the life of the flesh, but envy is the rottenness of the bones." Prov 14:30.
We note your request regarding marriage and we pray that God will bring you a godly spouse if it is in his will. We must remind you that it is not God's will for you to be unequally yoked. God's design for marriage is between a man and a woman and we pray for God's perfect spouse for you. We want you to remain sure that God is preparing a way for you and remember, For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called. For Yahweh has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, says your God. Isaiah 54:5-6.
We also remind you that it is not God's will for you to have sex outside of marriage. This is fornication and sin. Remember, "Finally, brothers, we command and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more. For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, 1 Thes 4:1-4.
We must rebuke your request for wealth and material things. God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and he will provide for you. Pray for your provision but do not make wealth your idol. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1 Timothy 6:10.
We must also remind you that there is no other name by which to approach God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are concerned that you do not seem to know this in your heart. We pray that you will understand that Jesus is the only way to God, the only way to salvation, and the only name by which to pray and have your prayers heard. We pray that you will accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior if you have not done so. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Acts 4:12.
We must also rebuke your request for the purging of photos and videos. It is not God's will for you to be an idol or be held up as an idol. No man has the power to purge the world of your image. This is not a request that is in line with God's will. We pray that you will not be swayed by the vanity of this world but, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Rom 12:2.
We pray for your continued faith and trust in the Lord and remember, "For still the vision is for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won't delay." Habakkuk 2:3.
We pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you. We pray that you will walk in God's will and that His favor will be upon you. We pray that you will seek His face and live in a way that is pleasing to Him and we pray that He will answer your prayers that are in accordance with His will. We pray that you will know that there is power in the name of Jesus and that He is the only way to salvation and to God. We pray that you will be a testimony of God's goodness and that His will shall be accomplished in your life. We pray this in Jesus' name.
