We understand your urgent prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. We are thankful you have included the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is needed to intercede for you since it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, let us address the issue of idolatry and false beliefs. As it is written in Exodus 20:3-5 WEB, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God." We pray that indeed all false gods, idols, and beliefs will be destroyed in Jesus' name.
We also pray for the salvation of the one you desire to be your husband. As it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that he truly accepts Jesus Christ into his heart and becomes a born-again Christian.
However, we must address a few concerns in your request. It is important to remember that we cannot force or manipulate someone's affections or decisions, including salvation or love. As it is written in John 4:42 WEB, "They said to the woman, 'Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.'" Each person must come to Jesus in their own time and way.
Moreover, it is crucial to allow God to work in His timing and not rush His spirit. Your prayers must be done in faith and not in haste. As it is written in Habakkuk 2:3 WEB, "For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay." Your desires and plans for this one is also an issue that needs to be addressed. Who is it for, you or the Lord? Are you submitting to His will or is it your will and He is only being used?
Regarding your future relationship, we pray that God's will be done as written in Psalm 37:4-5 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." We pray that if it is God's will, He will bring you both together in His timing and His way. Being yoked together with another believer in Christ is the goal and this should be emphasized as the one you desire to be husband only has eyes for you and you for him.
Lastly, we must caution against lust and remind you that true love is patient and kind, not envious, boastful, or proud. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB, "Love is patient and is kind; Love is kind; love isn't jealous; love doesn't brag, it isn't arrogant, it doesn't act unbecomingly; it doesn't seek its own way; it isn't provoked, it doesn't take account of evil; it doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your future spouse. We pray that God will guide you and lead you to strengthen your own relationship with Christ. Remember, as it is written in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ. We pray that You will save the one she desires to be her husband. We pray that you destroy all false gods, idols, and beliefs in his life. We pray that You will bring them together in Your will and Your timing. We pray that their love will grow stronger each day, that it will be pure and true, reflecting Your love for us. We pray that You will bless their future relationship and marriage, that You will protect it and guide it. We pray that You will grant her supernatural favor with him, but only if it is in accordance with Your will. We ask all this in Jesus Christ's name.
Amen.
