We understand your urgency and desire for unity in your marriage. It's wonderful that you mentioned Jesus Christ. That is very important. It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let's pray and seek God's will together through His Word.
Firstly, let's remember the words of the Apostle Peter: Be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. WEB
Now, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You work in his heart and draw him to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that You soften his heart and make him receptive to the Gospel, that he may be born again through the Holy Spirit's work.
Father, we also pray for unity in their marriage. We ask that You bring them together in spirit, soul, and body, that they may be of one mind and one heart, just as Jesus prayed for the believers in John 17:22. The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, just as we are one. WEB
Lord, we ask that You bless their relationship and marriage, that it may flourish in every way. Protect them from any harm or division that the enemy might try to bring. Help them to keep their eyes only for each other, that their love may grow stronger and deeper each day.
Father, we also pray that our sister may find favor in her husband's eyes, that she may be the woman of his dreams in every way. Help her to be a blessing to him, just as he is to her.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives. Guide them and lead them in Your truth. Give them the wisdom to make decisions that honor and glorify Your name.
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Now, let's remember the words of the Apostle Paul: Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. WEB. Also Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; WEB This is the high calling of marriage, to reflect the love between Christ and His church.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband's salvation and for God's will to be done in your marriage. Trust in the Lord's timing and remember that He is faithful to answer our prayers according to His will. Be encouraged by the words of James: The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. WEB.
