Very sick and missing out

Anonymous

Beloved of All
They’re always meeting somewhere and I’m always left out and mostly due to being further away from fam. Been so sick and Barfed so bad earlier not sure I can hold anything in. Haven’t been this sick since I hit my head and had a concussion a few years back. Please heal and help me Lord. I’m the head and not the tail above and not beneath Feeling very down with this weather. I shall live and not die but proclaim the works of the Lord. Christ mercy. Amen

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your healer and your strength in times of weakness. Your words echo the promises of Scripture, declaring that you are the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13), and that you shall live and not die, but proclaim the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). These are powerful declarations of faith, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting that God is faithful to His Word.

First, we want to address the physical suffering you are enduring. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we know that God cares deeply about your well-being. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We pray now for your healing, that the Lord would restore your strength and bring comfort to your body. May He calm the storm within you, settling your stomach and renewing your energy. We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave your body, for by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). Lord, touch every part of this dear one’s body that is afflicted, and let Your healing power flow through them like a river.

We also hear the loneliness in your words—the ache of feeling left out while others gather, and the distance that separates you from family. It is painful to feel isolated, especially when you are unwell. But take heart, for the Lord has promised, *"I will never leave you, nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Even when it feels like others have forgotten, He has not. Psalm 68:6 tells us that *"God sets the lonely in families,"* and we pray that He would surround you with His love and community, even in this season. Ask Him to provide opportunities for connection, whether through His people or through His presence in a fresh way. You are not forgotten, and your value is not determined by the invitations of man but by the love of your Heavenly Father, who calls you His own.

The enemy would love for you to believe that you are beneath, that you are forgotten, or that your suffering is without purpose. But we declare over you that you are *more* than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). This trial will not have the final say. The Lord is refining you, drawing you closer to Himself, and preparing you for what lies ahead. As you wait on Him, He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). Do not lose heart, for *"our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17).

We notice that you cried out to the Lord for mercy, and that is beautiful. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and we are so grateful you turned to Him. If there is anyone in your life who has not yet surrendered to Christ, we urge you to share the hope you have in Him. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and the mercy you seek is found in Him alone. If you ever need to hear the gospel afresh, remember this: *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious one who is suffering in body and spirit. Lord, You see their pain, their loneliness, and their weariness. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and heal them completely. Touch their body from the crown of their head to the soles of their feet, restoring every cell, every organ, and every function to perfect health. Rebuke the sickness that has taken hold, and let it flee in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also lift up their heart to You. Comfort them in their loneliness, and remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always. Surround them with Your love and bring godly community into their life—people who will encourage them, pray with them, and walk with them in faith. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, even in the quiet moments.

We declare that they are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, for they are Your child, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in their life. Give them patience in this season and hope for the future. May they proclaim Your works in the land of the living, testifying of Your goodness and mercy.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that would tell them they are forgotten or unworthy. Let them know deep in their spirit that they are loved, chosen, and cherished by You. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We know you've been feeling really unwell, and that's never easy. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, just as He promised in Matthew 28:20, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

We've been praying for your healing, and we want to encourage you with something from Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over you today. We ask that the Lord would touch your body, settle your stomach, and bring relief to your symptoms. We declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

We also want to encourage you about your feelings of loneliness. We know it's tough when you're not feeling well and others are gathering without you. But remember, you are never alone. Jesus said in John 14:18, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." He is always with you, and He sees you. We pray that the Lord would open up opportunities for connection and fellowship for you, even in this season.

Keep trusting in the Lord, dear friend. He is working in you and for you. We're here for you, praying for you, and believing with you for your healing and comfort. Let's keep lifting our voices together in prayer, knowing that our God hears and answers.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer these past few days. Your vulnerability in sharing your physical struggles and the ache of feeling left out has moved our hearts deeply, and we’ve been earnestly seeking the Lord on your behalf—pleading for His healing touch over your body, His comfort over your loneliness, and His strength to sustain you in this season. The imagery of you declaring, *“I’m the head and not the tail, above and not beneath,”* even in the midst of such weakness, has stirred our faith. What a testimony of resilience to cling to God’s promises when the body fails and the spirit grows weary!

We’re eager to hear how the Lord has met you in this. Has He brought relief to your sickness, restoring your strength and ability to keep food down? Have you sensed His presence in the quiet moments, reminding you that even when you’re physically distant from loved ones, you are never outside His reach? If He has moved in your circumstances—whether through healing, a renewed sense of purpose, or even a small but meaningful connection with others—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your story of God’s faithfulness could be the very encouragement someone else needs today.

If this battle is still raging, though, we don’t want you to carry it alone for another day. Post your request again, and let us continue to stand with you in prayer. We’ll keep asking the Lord to:
- **Heal your body** completely, just as He did when He bore your infirmities on the cross. May He settle your stomach, restore your energy, and replace this sickness with His shalom.
- **Speak truth over your heart** in the loneliness. Remind you that He sees you, He hasn’t forgotten you, and He is preparing a table for you even in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5).
- **Open doors for connection**—whether through a sudden invitation, a phone call from a loved one, or a divine appointment that leaves you knowing *you are not overlooked*.
- **Lift the heaviness** this weather and isolation have placed on your spirit. May He replace it with the light of His countenance, just as the sun breaks through the clouds.

You declared it yourself: *“I shall live and not die, but proclaim the works of the Lord.”* We’re believing with you that this season is not the end of your story, but a chapter where God’s power is being perfected in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Keep speaking life, keep fighting the good fight, and know that we’re right here with you, interceding and expecting God to move.

May He bless you with tangible reminders of His love this week. May He turn your mourning into dancing and your sickness into a testimony of His healing power. We’re not letting go of this prayer until we see His hand at work in your life.

In Jesus’ mighty name.
